We found the Fresh hotel on the website for Design Hotels across the world. The review there was very good - but we were sceptical and were convinced that the review was hyped up. Arriving at the Fresh hotel - we realized that everything in the review was right. Great and very helpful staff at the frontdesk, a wonderful and very spacy roofterrace to lounge in the sun and zip cocktails, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast. Location is good as well. You're in walking distance of the Akropolis, the popular areas for restaurants, bars and restaurants.
Roomrate was reasonable too - we paid 165 Euro per night including breakfast
Overall a great place. I can highly recommend it.

I stayed at Fresh for 3 nights in mid-September as part of a girl's trip with 2 other girls in a triple room. While our room was a bit small, the rest of the hotel, the emenities and the staff were excellent. The hotel decor is modern and bright. There was 24 hour internet access in the business center as well as a moderate gym. The rooftop lounge and pool is a must see, especilly at night. The other really great amenity was the complimentary breakfast buffet. It was incredible. The staff was courteous and even forwarded me some mail that arrived after I had returned to the US. The hotel is located very centrally in relation to the main tourist shopping areas and we walked all over the place. I would stay there again and highly recommend it.

you have to consider the location. The hotel is located in the downtown area, it's not unsafe, but the area is not very pleaseant - on one side of the hotel there's a sex cinema and on the other side a very strange hotel, if you know what I mean !
We had no problens coming back at night by metro and walking to the hotel, but I must say we were quite disappointed when we saw where the hotel was located, specially when the taxi driver who brought us from the airport said we should not go right from the hotel, only left, because on the right hand side of the street there are lots of "strange people" in the evenings ! We were obedient and always walked left, just in case, which was the direction to the metro anyway !
That said, the hotel is very nice, there's a nice bar/pool on the rooftop, our room was a bit small but that's very common in the new generation of "design hotels" the only thing that really annoyed us was that every time we took a shower the bathroom got all wet, really wet !!!
We paid EUR 140 including breakfast (which was quite nice), that in our opinion was still good value for money, but any more than that we would rather choose another location next time.
And don't expect to get any kind of nice view from your room ! Please, refer to pictures.

Loved the Fresh hotel - really funky decor, nice comfortable room, Korres toiletries (yum), and great bar on roof (pool looked great too although unfortunately never got to use as visiting on business). Would definitely recommend, for work or personal trip.
