This hotel was way better than I was expecting for under 100 euros/night in Stockholm! (Although I think that if you go in high season you won't be able to find such a great rate). I booked it directly through the Stockholm tourism website and was pleasantly surprised by how great the location was and how chic the room was. Also very friendly and helpful staff. Stockholm is a great city to visit so go for it!

I have stayed at this hotel dozens of times as it is across the street from where I occasionally work,

ROOMS:
Single rooms are VERY small, nevertheles they serve the purpose of a place to stay.
Sometimes I pick one of the following rooms 204,304,404 as they are almost like little suites and not that much expensive compared to the single rooms.

STAFF:
Simply wonderful

INTERNET:
Super good connection, either free 256 or 80 SEK for the 1 Mgb
Kinda annoying that there is no WIFI but only cable, and super short cables.

PARIKING
In general Stockholm is made for cars. So at Adlon as everywhere else the best way to park is in their underground parking. A little expensive though, 260 SEK per day.
BE AWARE of "sweeping nights" if you are parked illegal on a sweep nigh, where the streets are swept, your car will be towed.
Costs USD 500 plus you have to travel outside Stckhlm to the yard where they dump your car.

TRANSPORT
If you fly into Arlanda, take "Arlanda Express" to Stockholm. Stop 1 block away from Adlon, and costs the half of cab. Further it takes 20 minutes by train (high speed 200 km/h) and 45 minutes by Taxi.

If you like good music, visit Jazzclub Fasching across the street.

A nice, quaint hotel. It has an older european feel to it. Not alot of bells and whistles, but great service and is ideally located - you can walk to Old Town, go shopping, find great restaurants.

It's also located closeby to the Icebar - a touristy bar, but fun nonetheless.

I'm not sure whether the hotel read my review from last time, but this time my superior room booking got me room 602, a narrower but longer room spanning the back of the hotel on the top floor.

As such, there was no road noise, and no ambient light coming in through the windows. Due to the length of the room, there were also 2 LCD TVs, one near the bed and the other near the desk.

Breakfast and service were, as before, very good, and location is convenient as always: I'll be staying there on my next business trip to Stockholm.
