I don't really know what to say- I have very mixed thoughts on this hotel.
ROOMS: I had a single room which was extremely small, but then so are most rooms here and in Europe. It was pretty quiet- the room faced an internal square which housed a very, very noisy shopping centre- loud music until 10pm every night. When the music stopped, the room was quiet though. The tiny bathroom was awful- only a small shower with only warm water. The bed and pillows were really, really comfortable- but if you don't like a soft bed and pillow, you may not enjoy it as much.
BREAKFAST: Was amazing- the selection and the quality was really, really great. However, they did not have enough tables for guests, so at rush hour, you had to wait for up to half an hour or so for a table. I ended up making a take-away sandwich a few times.
SERVICE: The service was not so bad. I did not have one bad experience with Swedish people generally though, so I am really impressed with everyone (after coming from Dubai, everyone here was SO friendly and helpful!). There is free in-room internet which is also a huge bonus.
LOCATION: The location is great- you really couldn't ask for better. Everything is within walking distance and there are a number of really nice restaurants about.
STOCKHOLM: Is really expensive! I knew it would be, but was still shocked. Although, I have to say it is not much more expensive than Germany. It is very pretty, the people are really very friendly and speak fantastic English, the shopping is OK but nothing spectacular. While I enjoyed my stay there, I am not certain that I would return. Who knows??
