I stayed here for 3 nights on a girls spa weekend to Monte Carlo.
It is in a great postion with wonderful views and is really quiet at night as no cars can pass the front of the hotel as it is literally on the waters edge.
We had an apartment for 4 - it might have been a bit of a squash for 4 but for 3 it has plenty of room.
It had one bedroom and the seating in the lounge splits into two single beds. There is a nice bathroom and a seperate toliet. In addition it had a little kitchen area with fridge, mircowave, dishwasher a two ring stove, coffee maker but no kettle! The balcony had table and chairs and we were able to eat out there comfortably.
The swiming pool and sun terrace was wonderful and was situated on the roof, again with great views over the harbour.
Breakfast was help yourself continental just a pity there was no fresh fruit.
The location is great and easy to get in to the centre. The walk to the Casino is about 25 mins but there is a bus that runs frequently until about 9pm from just by the football ground, a two minute walk from the hotel. This will get you to the Casino area for less than 1 euro each way.
Within 5 to 15 mins walk of the hotel is a selction of bars and restaurants, the couple we tried provided great value for money.
A big supermarket is 10 mins walk away.
The only downside was the hotel staff were not helpful when we twice asked them to get us a taxi, it seemed like we were asking for the world although one arrived within a couple of mins. Nor when we wanted to split the bill, glad we didn't need them for anything more taxing!
Other reviews have said it but having seen for myself I can confirm that you can get the bus from Nice airport right to the Marriott hotel which is 1 mins walk from the hotel. I think it is the number 110 bus but I would not hestiate to use it in the future.
I would stay here again any time
