An excellent , charming guesthouse, and comfortable.
Tim and Maeve I found took great care to see after all my needs and requests for local information -on places of interest, restaurants, pubs etc.
The house has an olde-world (Victorian-Edwardian)charm-both inside and out(and a beautifull, colourfull front garden, well cared for by Maeve)-yet has all mod cons in the bedrooms too.
The atmosphere is laid back and friendly..and Tims sausages have to be sampled(I also believe that they make their own marmalade occasionally-and if you are lucky enough to stay when its offered-its called I think-Timand maevealade(!!!)...well its lovely!
Besides all this it is situated on a very quiet leafy road-yet-is only 5 to 10 minutes from main thoroughfare of LLandudno.
LLandudno itself is a very pretty town with amazing prominade at sea front.all told a noticeably clean town, very well maintained ,and is a gateway to many interesting historical sites. Conwy is well worth a trip...a lovely medieval feel to it ,with an extraordinary well-maintained 3 storey 16th century town house and many other curiosities to see.Its only a half hour from Llandudno and some beautifull beaches in between.
I took a train to london after ,the service is regular, as it is to Liverpool and Manchester.
I stayed a week and -appart from sampling this lovely area(the Great Orme is a lso worth a visit-a headland beside the town)..Tim and Maeve and the cosiness and cleanliness of Agar House really made the vacation extra special.I considered their rates very competative ,and they well deserve their 3 star rating(if not more)
