My husband and I took our four boys to Ireland for our 25th wedding anniversary. We stayed with Anne for our first two nights. My husband and I have traveled to Ireland two times prior to this visit and we love Kenmare. Anne and her family could not have been nicer. Her boys although younger showed my boys how to play hurling-they were surprised at how tough the sport was and it was on our list to see a game played. Anne has a great sense of humor and her place was very comfortable and of course clean. She made us a great breakfast every morning. My boys enjoyed her place the most and we were in Ireland for 15 days and nights. We would love to stay with her again. Greg and Maureen Mehlhorn

“Fun Farm B&B”

Doire Farm Bed & Breakfast

Room was clean, bright, comfortable. However, in our room there was only a double bed available, and a "camp bed" for our child which was really a foam foldout chair. We were told in advance that there would be a "camp bed" for him and it was comfortable enough for him. Hostess Anne has children who were very welcoming to our 9 year old son. He didn't want to leave! There's a basketball hoop in the parking area. Doire is a working dairy farm. It's enjoyable to see cows walking down road on their way to and from milking. Good place to start Ring of Kerry tour. Also close to Kenmare which has a good outdoor market. BTW paid 80 Euro for 2 adults and a child.
