We were in Ballybunion for a couple of nights on a golf junket and stayed at the 19th Lodge. It is a very nice place and the proprietors, Mary and James, were absolutely great. Very cordial and accomodating to our group of 12. It's quite convenient to the golf courses and I would highly recommend it as a place to stay for the comfort and wonderful hosts.

My son and I just completed a week long golf trip to SW Ireland which involved us bouncing from hotel to hotel. To our good fortune, the one location we had 3 nights was The 19th Lodge, where owners James & Mary provide a little taste of home. Their lodge has a small, cozy feel, a complimentary computer to stay in touch with the world, quiet areas to read and relax and great Irish breakfast each morning. To be 2 minutes from the famous Ballybunion Old and it's underated counterpart Cashen was just the bonus we were looking for. Highly recommend you stay with these kind and caring folks when in SW Ireland.

Golf “The warmest of warm”

We have just left Ireland after spending 5 wonderful days of golfing and were lucky enough to have spend the last two days at the 19th Lodge. Mary and James not only have a warm wonderful home (yes that is what you feel like being home) but are gracious and so very accomodating. The breakfast was the most wonderful way to start our day with Mary cooking and James making sure all the guests were served. They have such a winning combination and we can not wait to go back and feel the warmth that they exude. Ireland is a country filled with the most wonderful people and we were so glad to have come in contact with the two of them. Please do not miss this outstanding experience. Steffie and Jerry Garfield

We first stayed at the 19th Lodge 5 years ago and will stay here on each and every stay in Ballybunion. The rooms are impeccable the service and hospitality par excellence and the food delicious. Mary and James Beasley do everything to make their home feel like your own.
We do a lot of research prior to travelling and are sometimes suspect about the reviews on Trip Advisor...believe all that you read...this B&B is the best...Look no further...you must stay here!
Now if Beasleys could only do something about the weather...ahhh...thank goodness for the drying room!
