“Lovely central location in a gorgeous town”

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of July. We found the room we had to be both large, clean, and perfectly adequate for a short stay. The room had a large bathroom, air con, and more importantly shutters over the windows which kept the room both dark and cool in the 35 degree heat.

Breakfast cost 4 euros per/person and was really nice. Cereals / Roll with ham and cheese/ Jams / Coffee / juice etc.

The staff were really friendly and helpful.

We were really impressed with the location of this hotel - 10 minutes walk to the middle of the town. Loads of bars/tapas/sherry to sample.

We also took the train to Cadiz for the day - what a beautiful Town. 4 euros per person return.

Would definitely stay at Neuvo again.

“Cheap stay”

We stayed here for 1 night and paid Euro 38 for a twin share room. This was the best part about this hotel, the price! It represents a good deal, but the price is reflected in the quality of the accommodations.

The room is small and tidy, as is the bathroom, but at this price it is understandable. We felt that the door to the room was not very secure. Our biggest complaint was the noise. It was a very warm night during our stay, which meant that having the airconditioning on was really mandatory to getting a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the airconditioner made alot of noise and blew artic winds right on to my bed, and I soon froze. It wasn't an option leaving the window open because of the street noise that continued into the early hours of the morning. There was also the sound of the roosters which started up very early. Lucky for us, we had an early morning Ryanair flight to catch, but without much sleep is was a long journey home.

The hotel is located right off the main city square which is currently undergoing a full face lift (June 2006) and is fully fenced off which takes alot of the appeal away from the city. We spent a little under 24 hours in the city at the end of our trip to Spain which we felt was more than enough time to see everything the town has to offer. Do not expect more than no frills accommodation at the Nuevo Hotel.

we stayed at this htoel so we could get an early flight on ryan air the next morning but we really enjoyed it as part of our trip. The hotel is not very impressive from the street but once inside it had a nice simple elegance to it. The staff was most helpful and friendly and spoke good english. the location is great and the hotel was very clean. The furnishing were not wonderful but funtional and comfortable. It was a great value. The people of Jerez seemed were friendly and we plan to return to it to discover more of it.

“Nice and friendly hotel in downtown Jerez”

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in late June of 2004 and we were quite happy with it. The location was excellent: it was about a 4 to 5-minute walk from the main city square in Jerez de la Frontera. The facade of the hotel is unassuming, but inside it is nice: the hotel had marble floors and antique-looking furnishings. Our room was on the third floor and it had a balcony that looked out to the front street. Fortunately, there wasn't too much traffic, so noise was not a problem. The room had air-conditioning, which is a plus in the summer time since the temperatures can easily reach the 40C mark. Breakfast was included and it consisted of cereal, bread rolls, and coffee. The staff was friendly and they were attentive to our needs. All-in-all, the Nuevo Hotel is a good place and we would stay there again.
