I was looking for a place to stay with my husband on the weekend after St. Valentines Day. The place had to be private, romantic and beautiful and I found the perfect place at the Blue Boy Inn. It is a small inn with all the luxuries you could found in any big expensive hotel. We stayed at the new pool suites. When we arrived to the suite there was an arrangement of red roses with a note from Mark (owner) wishing us Happy Valentine's Day. The suite had a queen bed, armoire, TV with satellite, rattan sofa, kitchenette with wine glasses, plates, toaster, microwave, small sink and a dining table for two. The bathroom was very spacious. The shower was huge with a design of small rocks that massage your foot when you shower. The room was extremely clean (white tiles) and the maid provides new towels everyday. The pool is a dream, has a Jacuzzi and soon will have a hot tub. The gardens and the fountains give the illusion of being in Eden. And if you want to browse Internet there is a station at the lobby free of charge. Breakfast is included in your stay and it was delicious. Mark and his team were very friendly and accommodative. As soon as Marks finish the hot tub and the pit fire I'm going back.

Just returned from a brief getaway at the Blue Boy Inn, encouraged by the many positive raves it got on TripAdvisor. For couples looking for a small, quiet inn close to Rincon beaches, this can't be beat.

Marc is a wonderful host with great tips on nearby destinations and good places to eat. The Inn's gardens and pool area are outstanding, the rooms are beautifully furnished, and there is plenty of privacy.

It is just steps to the marina beach, and Steps Beach is just a few minutes walk north up the sand for snorkeling. We were amazed at how uncrowded the beaches north of town were -- all the way up past Domes beach and beyond.

If you are interested in a low-key (child-free) place to enjoy the sand, sun and water in the Rincon area, the Blue Boy is an excellent choice!

We stayed for five nights, wished it could have been five months. Marc is the penultimate host; our flight to BQN was delayed, but he'd called the airline, learned that and was waiting for us at the entrance when we drove up (the directions he'd sent us were spot on, too).

Marc couldn't do enough for us, and his breakfasts were to die for. Good bed, plenty of hot water, beautiful surroundings (you have to see the garden), what more could one want? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would return in a New York minute.

Don't miss Paco and Pico (Pico's the one with the spot on his shoulder, I think); they were three weeks old at our visit.

If your heading for Puerto Rico you should try this wonderful little Inn. Marc and his staff will treat you like gold. Over the last 10 years we have stayed just about everywhere in the islands. The Blue Boy is by far the nicest, cleanest and most welcoming place we have ever stayed. Just can not say enough about this place. The roses and candy in each room for Valentine Day was a great little touch.

Marc will also give you the heads up on what is happening locally along with advise on restaurants.

The little restaurant called the Ship Wreck about 100 feet from the garden enterance serves some of the best dishes on the Island.
