Three Sisters was an amazing, unique surprise filled with architectural beauty and character. Imagine the old and new combined in a clean, quiet property. My room was #31 (if memory serves me) which involved a series of stairs, elevators (only goes to second floor), and a spiral staircase to the king-sized bed. This would be tough on older travelers or after a few drinks!
However the room was equipped with two bathrooms and two televisions, a cool stone balcony (with a glass top to let in light upstairs), full length mirror, fridge, plenty of storage. I wished I had more time to enjoy it. The bathtub was huge and the shower was excellent, even by picky American standards. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic, and it was a great start to enjoy fresh-squeezed orange juice when we arrived. The most wonderful surprise of all is breakfast, which is served until late morning and could be delivered to your room. It was included with the price of our room and included pancakes, omelettes, or even scrambled eggs.
We enjoyed a fun night in the wine bar, which has a ton of character too. Larger groups or families will appreciate the library, which includes a table for planning excurions or to escape. The location is ideal, within walking distance (or short taxi) to the water and ferries, and on the edge of Old Town but on a quiet street. We had a memorable Sunday dinner at Grandma's Restaurant! Tallinn is the best kept secret in Europe - or not considering almost 5 million visitors enjoy it every year. Don't miss it yourself and include Three Sisters in your adventure!
