We took a long trip down the coast from Northern California to visit the Getty Museum in L.A. and decided to stay at the Hampton Inn in Agoura Hills. We've stayed at many other Hampton Inns before and have always been happy with the quality of the rooms, amenities (particularly their hot breakfast) and the price was very good (about $125/night) - ditto with the one in Agoura Hills.

It was beautifully maintained and although it was right off the freeway, it was very quiet (albeit we didn't have a freeway side view). Breakfast was good and the staff was pleasant. Location wise, it took about 45 minutes or so drive to get to most places on the 405 (Beverly Hills, Westwood, Brentwood, etc.) but only about 20 minutes to the Getty. It's only minutes from Westlake Village.

I would definitely stay there again.

Everything about this hotel was first class. The room had everything you could need, the breakfast was delicious (even had a "To Go" bag for those in a hurry), was very clean, friendly staff, beautifully decorated, etc. I wish all hotels were this nice.

Best Hampton Inn I've stayed in, and I've been in dozens. Very large breakfast area -- no waiting. Unexpected nicety for HI: Manager's Reception 6:30-8:00(drinks and snacks similar Embassy Suites). 500' from Ventura Hwy, but quiet. Little in the way of restaurants / shopping, Calabassis / Woodland Hills a couple exits East has more.

On our recent stay at the Hampton Inn, we were very pleased with the friendly, courteous staff. The rooms and grounds were very clean. The continental breakfast was awesome,and always included a "hot" breakfast! (i.e. sausage, eggs, waffles). The pool and spa area were nice, and best of all, the place is QUIET! The only thing that could have been better was that the bathtub drained really slow, which was a little annoying while showering. Overall, one the best chain hotels we have stayed at in a long time!
