I recently intended to stay at the Hampton Inn Suites Agoura Hills. Upon arrival at the Hotel, we were informed that our reservations had been canceled by a third party that had nothing to do with the reservation. This was even though we had a confirmed reservation guaranteed with our credit card and there was no attempt to contact us to notify us of the cancellation. Upon asking how this was possible, we were informed that this happens all the time and in fact that this is Hilton's policy. To date there has been no effort by Hampton or Hilton to apologize or logically explain this incident.

This property is a pleasant as usual Hampton Inn, and I had no problem with location, parking, or the room...they were all fine...but for some reason the Mon-Weds night manager's reception was cancelled without notice (we were not told this at checkin, but found out when we came down at the appointed time and nothing was there), and the "hot" breakfast in the morning was abysmal...while they had all the cheap bagels, coffee, and cereals you could want, the two trays for egg and/or potatoes or meats were usually empty as they were not refilled, in fact one of the trays had never been used..the other one had a eggs formed into small squares with cheese on it concoction that we all agreed was inedible.

This was my second stay at the Hampton Inn in Agoura Hills. Our first visit was nice, and this was also just as nice as expected. We were in the area for six nights but could only get a room for one night here, unfortunately.

The entire property is spotlessly clean and very well-maintained. The rooms are huge and very quiet. We had a room overlooking the freeway the first time and were concerned about the noise, but the heavy windows kept out all sound.

The breakfast is always nice at Hampton, and this hotel is no exception. The area was kept clean and well-stocked.

Great choice if you are in the area!!

We stayed at this hotel while attending the Target World Challenge Golf Tournament at the Sherwood Country Club. I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of this hotel. Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds and very helpful and friendly staff. I can't speak for the rooms on the freeway side but our room, located on the side away from the freeway was very quiet. I payed $129.00 a night which was a tad bit pricey but considering the popularity of the golf tournament (i.e. Tiger Woods) I wasn't too suprised. I would definately recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to be in the Agoura Hills, Westlake Village area.
