We stayed at the fairfield Inn Dec 18 2006 - Dec 22nd 2006 in a 2 bed room interconnecting with my parents. we stayed on the 7th floor overlooking the pool and Disneyland. The rooms are huge and totally big enough for the 4 of us , 2A + 2 teenagers 16 and 13. The room has 2 very comfortable queen size beds + 1 single fold out sofa chair if you need another bed. The bathroom had a bath/shower + toilet and the vanity was outside the bathroom and had a coffee machine small bar fridge and huge mirror and hanging space available. Staff were excellent and housekeeping was immaculent. Stand on the verandah outside to watch Disneylands foreworks each night. There is also a coinoperated laundry on each floor as well as on the 3rd floor a pizza hut where you can buy groceries and coffee, sandwiches and salads and a kids play room. You have to eat at Millies restaurant located at the front of the hotel. The chicken pot pie is to die for. Our daughter loved the dinousaur shaped chicken nuggets. Prices are great and the meals are huge. We bought 1 meal and shared between 2 of us. Saved us heaps of money. We walked to Disneyland each day. Only a 10 minute walk and it is directly opposite the hotel. You just have to walk up to the lights located west of the hotel and cross the road into the park. Great location. If we were to visit Disneyland again we would stay no where else but at the Fairfield Inn. We highly recommend this hotel

“Very Satisfied”

Fairfield Inn Anaheim Disneyland

Let me start with the same caveat others have mentioned - this is a basic motel-style property. So your expectations should include outside corridors, styrofoam cups, and fairly thin towels.

That being said, it is a VERY GOOD basic motel-style property with an excellent location. It is an easy 5 to 10 min walk to Disney. We pushed a loaded baby carriage each day and thought nothing of it. (Last year we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. I'd say the walk from that property is equally long.)

Our room was large, modern and clean. The 2 beds were very comfortable. However, don't bank on the 'single sleeper sofa' that comes with the room. It is essentially an oversized chair.

There's a Pizza Hut on the 3rd Fl as well as a games/arcade room. Coffee and some danish and breakfast foods were available in the morning. We never at there though. Instead we ate at McDonalds and Mimi's Restaraunt (very good). Both are adjacent to the property. The pool was warm, though somewhat small for a property this size. There is also a very small hot tub.

Hotel staff were efficient and pleasant. The lobby area was attractive.

So no complaints. I'd stay there again.

“Great average hotel right across the street from Disneyland”

I have stayed at the Fairfield Inn twice. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and you can see the fireworks show from the balcony (not a private balcony though). The first time I stayed there, we had a room facing Disneyland and that was very cool. We were in a different area the 2nd time but we could easily walk over and still look into the park and see the fireworks show. When our door card reader battery "died" (unable to get into the room), the maintenance staff showed up very quickly and replaced the battery immediately.

“Wonderful experience”

Fairfield Inn Anaheim Disneyland

Stayed here Jan 20th thru 23rd 07. Very friendly and helpful staff including housekeeping. While there is a fee based computer in the lobby, the front desk printed our boarding passes for free!
Our 2 Q/sofa sleeper room was very clean, albeit small. Had a small frig but no MW which would have been nice on the counter above the frig.
The so-called sofa sleeper was a joke. It was about a foot and a half to 2 feet in width. Not kidding. Very narrow. When I was told the room had a sofa sleeper, I assumed a double sofa sleeper so be aware. Our 13 year old had a tough time but endured.
Our stay was very nice overall. Very quiet tho we were quite close to the elevators and it sounded like the ocean as it whooshed up and down. Ask for a room away from elevators.
Also ask to stay higher up to see the fireworks at D-land. While our room faced the park, we could not see the fireworks.
3rd floor has nice coffee shop and gameroom but we found this out on the last day.
Being the hotel snob that I am, would stay again; the walk was not bad into the park.

“would not stay here again”

We stayed here for 3 nights over New Year. Had no idea it would be so crowded, would not do that again, one daughter got food poisoning from a place in Disneyland, which didn't help our overall demeanor! Hotel is in a good location as you can walk across the road but is more like a motel than hotel. No bell hops to help with luggage. Staff very unhelpful and rude. Had requested non-smoking but put into smoking and door lock did not work properly. When complained to staff they pretended they didn't know about the smoky smell (supposed to be a non-smoking hotel) and then later they admitted that the cleaners had reported the smoking smell. Offered free breakfast from "in-house" Pizza Hut. No thank-you! Rooms were okay for the price and clean. At least we didn't have to tip here as staff hard to find!
