We stayed here this past Thursday for one night. And we loved it!! I was worried after reading the last reviews, but I think they must have been staying at a different place. When we checked in we received a very friendly and helpful desk. We had the King suite and had soooooooo much room. I went with my two youngest children ( 2 & 4) and they were able to spread out and not feel as if they were stuck in a room. I even ended up sleeping on the couch because of a coughing child, and it was very comfortable. The breakfast wasn't fancy but it was free and plenty. We had the choice of biscuits and gravy, pancakes (yes they were frozen ones, but they tasted fine), cereal, rolls and drinks. My kids and myself left satisfied enough to go to DLand and not need to eat for quite awhile. Maybe we're not too picky but I felt safe, comfortable and very happy with our choice to stay here. Would we stay here again.....you better believe it and we are looking forward to it.

“La Ghetto”

La Quinta Inn and Suites Anaheim/Disneyland

Don't be fool by the 5 stars people have given this hotel in the past. La Quinta IS "La Ghetto!!!!!!" My sister us booked a vacation package for Thanksgiving which included Disney 3-day park hopper tickets. She booked what was supposed to be a 2 bedroom suite. If anyone knows anything about a suite you know that it comes with a "living room" area, a kitchen or kitchenette, in addition to a larger bedroom and bathroom.

Now let me tell you, on the website, the rooms "look" nice because they only took pictures of the beds only. You don't see the room. IT IS NOT A TWO BEDROOM SUITE.! IT IS LITERALLY ONE LARGE ROOM DIVIDED BY A PARTION --TO BE EXACT, A CURTAIN AND A BROKEN SLIDING/WOODEN GLASS DOOR OF SOME SORT!!!! There WAS NO SITTING AREA, unless you count the children's table that was only big enough for toddlers. See we got the room that had 1 queen bed and the other room had bunk beds. So let me tell you, the room was so small it was only big enough for the bed!!! That is why you only get a picture of the beds!!!!

We knew the room was BOOTLEG & LOW BUDGET because instead of the sink being in the bathroom where it belongs, it was in the BEDROOM!!!! And this sink was apart of a long counter that housed the TV set as well! And our so called kitchen was no more than a small square refrigerator and a microwave in the kid’s room!!!!! Only big enough to put 1 to go box. But this is not was killed it. Besides having only one closet on the queen bedroom side (I guess both "rooms" were suppose to share that one closet), there were community bathrooms on every floor! What 5 star hotel has this???!!! And they had the nerve to charge $10 a day for parking! And the parking lot was so cramped, you had to do a 3-point turn just to get out of your parking space!!!

But this is what killed it, the vacation package came with breakfast which was a nightmare. I am talking about frozen apples and pears, dry cereal, bread and an egg patty!!! What in the hell are you suppose to do with that! And then they have the nerve to have the elevator have key card only access, as if they were some fancy hotel! It's was all very deceiving! When you walk into the lobby of the La Quinta, you see marbel floors, a nice sitting area and a plasa tv on the wall. You would think you are about to stay in a very nice hotel, until you get to your room! Literally leaving the lobby to go to your room is like going from Beverly Hills to the Projects!

So, overall HORRIBLE HOTEL!!!! You will do better at Motel 6. It is false advertisement!! PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM LA QUINTA, BECAUSE IT TRULY IS LA GHETTO!!!!!

“Ok but not with kids”

The property is "good enough" if you want free parking and free breakfast. Our first room had fleas. Yep, pets are allowed. But, they were more than happy to switch our room. Breakfast is not bad. Overall, it's good for the price but don't expect too much. I wouldn't stay with kids since it's still a good walk to Disneyland.

“Great hotel!”

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the LaQuinta Anaheim. It was fabulous! I was a little wary after reading some of the other reviews on here, but we were happy. The hotel staff was very friendly, and check in was a breeze. We stayed in a 3 room suite, with 4 adults and 2 small children we had plenty of room to stretch out, and it was nice having the living room when people were trying to rest. Our room was very clean, and cleaned before we returned for afternoon naps each day. The breakfast offered was only so-so, but it was free and items were refilled often. We can't wait to go back to Disney and we'll definitely stay at the La Quinta again next time!

“GREAT DEAL”

We needed a trip on a budget and we got one. Most hotels were at least $109 a night and we found this at $82.50 for an Apt. Suite.
The room consisted of a king in one room and bunk beds in the other. The morning breakfast was actually a surprise, nothing special but it got us to the later morning before we needed to eat again. The hotel was close enough to Disneyland to walk. The only issue is a lot of construction nearby , but when the construction is done a Cheesecake Factory and Bubba Gump's will be accross the street. The construction was never an issue just made crossing streets a little interesting at times. I would stay again.
