My family & I arrived to LaQuinta on 12/26/2005 @ 1:00 pm ready for 3 fun filled days a Disneyland. When we checked (room # 301) in and put our belongings in the room "looked" very nice. But from the first 5 minutes the whole experience was "horrible"! The toliet overflowed within the first 5 min. The front desk was very accomodating and sent a worker right away. We then went to Disneyland and returned to the room around 10:30pm. I wanted the kids to take showers and lo and behold NO SHOWER! I called the desk and said they would take a work order and have someone there 1st thing next morning. I did not appreciate having to wash my LONG hair in a sink with a plastic cup. The next morning we went to the desk and was greeted by a man named "Robert" & "Kay" they were extremely apologetic and was very nice but could not get us a room until after 1:00pm! Felt "dirty" all day. We then went back around 7:30 pm and was assigned rm #216. Was not as nice or big as the 1st room. We went to the gift shop and when returning maybe 15 min. we were unable to enter our room due to a malfunction with the door. We then called the desk again and it took them 45 min. to let us in the room. Needless to say we were very upset and packed up and left back to Las Vegas 2 days prior to us supposedly were to check out. It was a very bad trip all the way around and was unable to enjoy the 50th party like we had anticipated & saved for a whole year. Never again will we ever stay there and most definitely NEVER recommend this Hotel. It is very unfortunate because we had such high expectations and I researched this Hotel prior to booking. The Management should of never assigned this room to anyone knowing it was not in workable condition.

My family had the opportunity to go to Disneyland on Nov.30,2005 & we stayed at La Quinta,Anaheim for 6 nights. This is an EXCELLENT hotel!!! VERY CLEAN, VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL STAFF!!!! AND their complimentary breakfast was VERY generous!! Not a noisy hotel either!!! You bet WE WILL stay here again & again!!!!

O.K. here's the problems.

1. Lost my reservation.

2. Maids didn't clean room first 2 days there. Emptied garbage myself.

3. Holes and cracks in ceiling.

4. Towels on floor left for first two days there.

5. 3/4 in. Copper pipe protruding from ceiling in bathroom. Presumably draining from leak in ceiling?

6. Hotel called my room at 12:30 a.m. to request I pay the night before I was to check out, even though I requested to pay cash at the beginning to save myself the hassle of carrying large sums of cash around on trip and was told to pay at checkout.

7. Staff lied the whole time to our faces. First our room was not in the computer, and they had no vacancies of the double suite we ordered then when I suggested that they pay for the first night as it was their fault a double suite suddenly appears. Then when told about the housekeeping it was determined that we must have left the do not disturb sign on the door, though I've never used one in my life.

8. Many of the power outlets in room didn't work. I couldn't get my phone to charge in the room and needed to use my cell phone to meet up with my wife when they got into town.

9. Hotels phones didn't work for the first 3 days there. Which wouldn't have been so bad if my cell had a charge.

My son (9years) & I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights.
Before leaving Australia I had read some of the reviews & was not expecting too much upon arrival. I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean and well maintained. The bed was new, extremely comfortable & everything worked except the hairdryer. When I mentioned this to staff it was replaced straight away.
The continental breakfast was fine with fresh fruit (apples, oranges & bananas). I loved having a guest laundry which was very clean & only $1 for washer & dryer. Vending machines & gift shop were also at this hotel. Will definitely be returning again.
