“My Humble Opinion”

Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites

Just want to add my two cents on this Disney Motel. Everything about this hotel was average. We are a midwest family and trying to get the best bang for our buck. You can't beat the location for Disney. Since we were in the parks all day the rooms were nice enough to hang your hat for the night. Very clean but nothing special. We never heard any freeway noise. Check-in was a bit rough but our room wasn't ready as promised. Add 6 hours in a plane and two young children....you see where I'm heading. I WOULD DEFINATLEY RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL FOR THE FAMILY ON A BUDGET.

We recently took a family trip to Disneyland in California. 4 of us. Our children are 10 and 5. Wonderful trip full of great memories, but wanted to comment on hotel. First, like most of the hotels on this strip it is actually a MOTEL. Rooms on the outside. It has 5 floors with stairs and 2 elevators. We were on the 4th floor right down from the outdoor pool. This was the best part of stay here. Our kids were in the pool every day and had a blast. It is a smaller pool, but great for children. So recommend you stay on the 4th floor near the pool.
We could also watch the fireworks at night from the pool deck.
Again, very nice. Now the room. It had a fridge and microwave which we used every day. Very helpful. The room was tidy and fairly modern, but the beds were so uncomfortable. Terrible mattresses. Both my husband and I had sore backs in the morning. Pillows flat too. We requested more pillows which helped a bit. The bathroom had no fan. It was a very dark room as well. The other disappointment was the continental Breakfast.
Very, very basic and bland. We just used it for coffee and juice.
Bought our own cereals and fruit and kept them in our room. We were trying to save money by getting a hotel with the breakfast, but if your family are big breakfast eaters this won't work for you.
The main bonus was the location. 4 doors down from the main entrance and very easy to get to. It was also priced reasonably.
If comfort is not that important then this will work fine for you.
Overall we gave it an average rating. Okay, but next time we'll try and move up a bit in quality. But..........go to Disneyland. So fun!

I just got home from 6 nights at the Camelott Inn, Apr 13 - 18. I am a 45 yr old single female and for the first time ever went on a trip alone. I wanted a hotel that was safe, clean, close to Disneyland with a free breakfast. I am very picky with hotels, all I knew about the Camelott was what I read online. I arrived at the hotel after midnight by taxi and felt comfortable right away, the property is very well lit at night. The night clerk had me checked in very quickly with no problems. I felt 100% safe going up to my room on the 3rd floor day or night whether I used a stairwell or elevator. I walked into the room and it was sparkly clean. bathroom had lots of nice fluffy towels, bed was comfy with fresh crisp linen and fluffy pillows. I had a king room which had a couch, coffee table, 2 chairs and desk, mini fridge, microwave (both good and clean) and the carpets looked brand new. I booked a Hollywood tour through the front desk, the desk clerk was friendly and helpful and I had no problems with that either. The breakfast is served in a nice big bright room on the main level from 7-10 every day. It's well worth it, you can eat all you want, it's free what more do you want!?! They have a good selection, 3 types of danishes, 2 types of muffins, croissants, all nice and fresh, apples & oranges, 3 types of dry cereal and milk, orange juice, lemon aid, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a person there constantly re-stocking. There are plenty of table to eat at if you wanted, I asked for a tray and took mine up to my room. I kept my room clean myself and only had the maid in once, but she was friendly each morning when I asked for fresh towels. It is super close to the park, not even a 5 minute walk to the main gates. There is a McDonalds right next door on one side of the hotel and Quiznos on the other, plus a couple of family dining places right there, plus a mini mart store. I will defninately stay there next time i go, I can not say a bad thing about the hotel. It met all my needs 100%.

“Ideal location!”

Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites

Glenwood Springs, CO
Apr 21, 2008

Stayed six nights here in April 2008.

The location is ideal, half a block to the Disneyland main entrance. The area is clean and safe and full of restaurants.

The hotel itself is adequate. The room is nothing special, clean but boring. The bathroom was big and the room was pretty spacious. Overall it was just fine for our needs on this trip.

We didn't have hot water one morning but that was the only problem. If we visit Disneyland again I would stay here without hesitation, though I would likely choose somewhere else simply for variety.
