“Nice little place”

Quality Inn & Suites - Anaheim Resort

We booked a hotel through orbitz and it turned out to be horrible so I had to call around at ten at night to try and find a hotel that had rooms available for a week.....

They were very friendly when I called and when we checked in. All the staff was friendly with the exception of one guy.....our keys became deactivated and we had to push the button outside to get someone to the window to help us and he was well....snotty and insisted that we were not using the cards right.....

We stayed toward the back of the hotel so we had no freeway noise at all. The bed was comfortable enough, pillows were very thin so we called the front for some more which they delivered quickly. The room had a nice size fridge and microwave. There was also a coffee pot and a hair dryer and even a safe in the room. It did have a table with two chairs also in the room. The shower had great water pressure. The toilet you had to hold the handle down so it would flush but no big deal....The only thing that was off with this hotel is that when you walked in our room it smelled very strongly of must. Not too far from disney...We would stay again

This is the new name for the old Penny Sleeper at this location. It's a very nice location and easy walking distance to Disneyland. There are about eight hotels even closer for the walk; but at significantly higher prices. The daily resort fee here is $3.15, also much less than the closer hotels. (The resort fee is normally NOT included in prepaid plans like Priceline, Skoosh, and Hotwire, so you need to remember this.) The continental breakfast is generous and filling, and certainly more than makes up for the resort fee. Our experience with four of the front staff was always positive. There are some nice easting places on the way between the hotel and the park. The pool was nice, although not warm enough for spring swims after the sun went down. Wireless access is free but somewhat spotty, at least in our room. That was really our only disappointment. Parking is free and there's plenty of room. We'd certainly stay at this place again.

“For the price? Not that bad.”

Quality Inn & Suites - Anaheim Resort

My friends and their two daughters were headed to Disneyland for a week, so I decided to fly down from my home in SF to catch up with them. Being a slacker, I took my sweet time in making a hotel reservation, which meant that their hotel -- and almost every other one I contacted -- was booked. Uh oh. I finally scored a room at this two-star establishment and figured it couldn't be that bad.

And you know, it wasn't. The hotel staff, first of all, were quite pleasant and even hooked me up with a code that gave me access to the free wifi. The room itself was spotless -- definitely spare, definitely not luxurious -- but clean and comfortable. Plus, it's just a five-minute walk away from tons of restaurants, Disneyland and Downtown Disney -- so it's super convenient.

My biggest complaint was the freeway noise -- I was in a room that was a few doors down from the freeway, and the constant whooooosh of cars going by made it hard to fall asleep. Definitely request a room on the OTHER side of the hotel. The continental breakfast, while a nice touch, was pretty grim (talk about nasty coffee) and totally mobbed with families. There's a little quick mart attached to the hotel where you can pick up toothpaste and other sundries you may have forgotten -- but you'll pay for the convenience (I picked up sunscreen and deodorant for a whopping $20). Still, for $80 a night, I felt like the whole experience was a value and I'd stay there again.

“Nice, Clean, Affordable”

We booked 2 nights thru Priceline for $50 a night. It was well worth it. The motel is conveniently located...Disneyland, McDonalds, Tony Roma's...all a couple blocks away. The rooms are small but very clean and well maintained. Compared to the motel we got for the remainder of our trip, right across from Disney and more $, this hotel was 5-star! Clean, convenient, cheap...would stay there again.

“Nice place”

Quality Inn & Suites - Anaheim Resort

Apr 21, 2008

We spent four nights here while visiting Disney. Great location, clean room, very friendly and helpful staff and good, varied complimentary breakfast.
The room was small though, too small. We'd booked for four people - two adults and two children - and booked a room with a double bed and a sofa bed, stated to sleep four. My children are skinny but both wouldn't fit on the sofa bed so three of us had to squeeze into the double. The website actually states that the room will sleep five with an extra bed - have no idea where this extra bed would fit though!
Would stay again.
