I don't understand. It is like the owners of this motel decided to make it as dreary and depressing as you can imagine... and they succeeded. If you only want a place to crash and plan to spend every waking moment at the park, it might suit you, but after a day at Disney, it was really a depressing place to go to. Our travel ageny booked us at the Ramada Maingate North, thinking that we were being booked at the Ramada Maingate (right across the street from Disneyland entrance). We found out the mistake too late to cancel. The Ramada Maingate might be nice. I don't know. But the Ramada Maingate North (across I-5 and a half mile from the maingate) is the pits. And... I find it a little shady to have the name "Maingate". I think that is misrepresentation. It is nowhere near the maingate! Wouldn't y you think that if a Disneyland hotel had "Maingate" in their name that it would be 5 or less minute walk to the park entrance? Not here. 15 minutes at a good clip, across a freeway overpass and narrow sidewalks. There is a bus, but why take a bus if you are staying at a motel with "MAINGATE" in its name?
And no fresh fruit at the lousy breakfast. Stale doughnuts and sticky waffles. They do have one thing right in their name *The Ramada Limited Maingate North". It is LIMITED!
