We were in Miami visiting family who live in Aventura. We choose this hotel because of its location to their apartment.

Myself, my mother and my grandmother stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The room was OK but was not cleaned very well. We were given 2 double beds instead of 2 queens which made sharing with my mother tight.

The maid service never replaced used coffee, towels, shampoo, soap, etc. Every evening we had to call down for clean towels, more coffee and more shampoo. (we were not being excessive, there were 3 of us using these items). Nothing was cleaned very well (see pictures). It was annoying to come back to the hotel in the evening wanting to relax only to find that the room was still a mess.

The workout room had 2 treadmills, a bike and an old elliptical machine. It was a small room but at least they had something.

The breakfast was not very good. It was expensive for what you got. You had to pay for the buffet even if you only wanted 2 eggs. Very disappointing.

I would only stay here again if there was nothing else available anywhere!

This was a very nice hotel. We booked it with Marriott reward points. Process was a little long. We never got the first confirmation they faxed which we needed for check in. We only had a few more days to get it and they were helpful to make sure the hotel had that confirmation. Check in was great. They even upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite. Very nice room and very clean. Pool area was ok. A little small and not too much sun at certain times because it was surrounded on a couple of sides by the hotel walls. Check out was a little different though. We had a disagreement with the guy at the desk about something we were supposed to get free and he basically called us liars. The manager wasn't there so I had to call him. Left him a couple of messages until he finally got back to me a few weeks later. He said he would refund it. Another few weeks went by and I left him another message and he finally did refund it.

Excellect promotion when we stayed - Buy 2 nights get the 3rd for free. Everything was great except for the restaurant. My daughter waited 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge her for breakfast service. There was one other occupied table in the restaurant at the time. Then when they brought the bill they tried to charge her the adult price instead of the child's buffet price. When I asked them about the adjustment I got a dirty look from the server.

Other than that bad experience, we were happy with the hotel.

The hotel is nice, clean, and has friendly staff. The room, bathroom, and tv is small for the price. I would not reccommend more than two to a room. The tv is a 19 inch with no game connection. Cleaning service did a great job, even laid my shoes out neatly against the wall.

Great location for shopping and restaurants. Aventura mall, which is a wonderful mall, is blocks away but not within walking distance. Bal Harbor shops are within 15 minutes. Great location to travel between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.

Overall it was a great stay, however for the lack of space and small tv the price could be cheaper.
