Stayed at this hotel in November of 2007, very nice Hotel, staff very Friendly,very accomodating and mostly all spoke english.Resturant's are OK, walked around blocks adjacent to hotel some very good resturant's within walking distance, don't let people fool you it is ok to walk around but just remember if you look for trouble you will find it and just be aware of your surroundings just as in any major city. Shops in hotel are nice with nice staff, pool area is great with a very friendly staff and quick to bring food or drink ( great for kid's). If I do happen to go back to G.C. this Hotel will be on top of my list.Oh yeah did I mention the convenient shuttle from the Airport and great decor and security.

We found the Westin Camino Real in Guatemala a great place to stay. We will stay there again if we ever get back to Guatemala. The service was excellent, the rooms well appointed and cozy, the staff very attentative, helpful and friendly. There are several restuarants to choose from and the food was exceptional -- American food as well as Guatemalan food. The pool was excellent and the food & beverage service at the pool was very good.

They had a full size gym, arobics and spin classes, tennis courts and a massages. The business center for internet access was great and inexpensive. They had many shops and stores as well.

If you are a family there for an adoption, they cater very well to adopting families and their new babies. We were very comfortable there.

Stayed here for one night. What a wonderful hotel! Extremely Clean and comfortable. Beautiful Pool Area. Great Restaurants within walking distance. I did not try any of the hotel restaurants so I cannot give my opinion but I walked by them and the food smelled delicious!!! Really short stay, but I was very pleased. Oh yeah I got some slippers as part of my ammenites. Loved them!

My husband and I stayed at the Westin Camino Real while on a visit trip to see our son that we are adopting. The hotel lobby is quite pretty and the entire staff is welcoming and helpful. Most of the staff is fluent in English, so we didn't have to speak much Spanish. The room was a good size and the bed couldn't have been more comfy. They also supplied a baby bathtub that we could use for our son. There was also a family lounge down the hall from the room which was also a nice touch. The pool was beautiful and clean. The only downside of the hotel was the limited food selection. There was only one restaurant and since we didn't venture out much, we ate a lot of the same food.
