What a wonderful place. Marrakech is a superb, vibrant and welcoming city to visit. However, it does take it out of you. How about staying in a liitle jewel, an oasis of calm and tranquilty ? Las Palmeras really is a find. We met several fellow holidaymakers staying in the hustle and bustle of the Medina and I felt genuinally sorry for them, as there seemed no escape from it all. At Las Palmeras we were deposited in the city in fifteen minutes (5 euros each time) and given the option for a pick up (we could cancel by text and grab a taxi). What I loved was how everything was revolved around pleasing you. Our room was wonderful and I can't really describe how relaxing the whole experience was. all i can say is try it out for yourselves. If you fancy being looked after by the charming Hiind and Mustapha where no question is a problem then this is the place for you. I have been known to be a cynic yet I really can't complain about this place.
ps Top tip. All food must be pre ordered as it takes all day to cook. If arriving late eve etc. phone the hotel and arrange a pick up and order a tangine each. The food is as delicious as anything else we tasted in Morocco (which is saying something)
