If you're looking for an experience in Tangier you have to visit the Medina. You'll find all sort of things there. Just beware that everyone will try to sell you everything. It's just like in the movie Aladdin. My friends and I went on a trip to Tangier we were lucky to find 2 guys from there that showed us around and took us shopping. They were able to get us really good prices -beware because they will try to rip you off if they know you're an 'outsider' and believe me they know. Overall you can negotiate just about anything and even if you decide not to purchase anything it's still a great experience.
