This was a strange experience. I stayed for nine nights and had the full range of experiences, from kind and helpful desk clerks to those who yelled at me to call the airport myself (I had, like about half the guests there, lost my luggage and had to taxi back to the airport at my own expense to retrieve it.) As opposed to the insinuations on the website, there was no internet available in the room, and the "Business Centre" consisted of two desks with pricey and iffy-internet connection. While the breakfast was lovely, there was nothing for a vegetarian to eat after breakfast (dinner was a set menu). My room was very large and attractive, with a gorgeous marble tub--and the toilet leaked sewage, and the towels smelt of must. Clearly, this hotel is a remnant of bygone grandness, and as such is a bit sad....but is very inexpensive and was a nice, if quirky, air-conditioned refuge from the insanity of Tunis. A feature that characterizes my whole time: breakfast was included in the price, and one could have breakfast in-room, also included in the price, by leaving the card out on one's door. Whether or not one would actually *get* the breakfast, or--if it was delivered--whether or not it would even remotely resemble what was ordered, was anyone's guess.
