This is a WONDERFUL place. It is very modern and the staff are great. The rooms are spacious which is not common in Bangkok. The room service food is very good and so is the morning breakfast provided to all guests.

The full kitchen helps guests keep some food on hand and also provides a sense of a homey apartment. Much larger than extended stay suites in the US and far more attractive decor.

I will stay here on my next visit and will recommend to others as well.

Siri Sathorn is definitely a good 5-stars apartments hotel. All decoration and appliances are very high-quality and look new. Service is great and attentive.

I booked a Terrance suite (most expensive 1-bedroom aside from penthouse). The atmosphere is very homey (a great plus for long term – unlike some other good places were decoration has more industrial/commercial look and feel), kitchen well equipped, 5-star apartment and hotel facilities indeed. The terrace is nice, but not really usable unless you caught a nice weather in the slightly less warm/humid winter (or of course if you want to smoke). Still it adds a sense of additional space to the room. Note that some deluxe apartments may have more space (at lower rate), however some of them have less attractive/homey decoration. Terrace apartment is on 10th floor out of 19, so higher floors may have more attractive view. Breakfast not great but reasonable, not as good as in the larger hotels.

All in all the hotel and apartment facilities well deserve the slightly higher price. Location also Ok if you can stand the weather for a 10 minute walk to the nearest BTS station or the bustling Silom area.

Yet unfortunately my stay at the Siri Sathorn was not such a happy one. What went wrong? Well, noise! Some apartments are getting substantial traffic noise from main roads. This was on the 10th floor. Indeed the double-glazing windows help but not enough. My colleague stayed in higher floor apartment, and felt the noise was less significant but still a disturbance.

In addition to traffic noise (motorcycle traffic being most irritating), the really big windows in the bedroom (a plus by itself) are not shielded appropriately from the bright light in the morning. So if you're not sensitive to noise and light in your sleep, then by all means Siri Sathorn is an excellent option. Otherwise, you're risking your good night sleep... The management did try to assist, but in my case they couldn’t provide a decent solution, as the hotel was almost fully booked. Well, no luxury facilities/amnesties can help you if you can't sleep well on your business/vacation trip… Beware.

Tucked away behind Silom in Sala Daeang a great little boutique hotel this is my 5th visit and I love it staff courteuos and speak very good english, rooms superb and breakfast out of this world

Siri Sathorn rocks! This is a serviced apartment but the service will make you feel like you are staying at a 5-star property. Great location near the Sala Daeng BTS and they also have a van that will take you places for free. Relatively expensive for BKK (expect to pay US$120/night for a 1-bedroom apartment), but well worth every penny! Get the 1-bedroom executive suite if you can, it was lovely. =)

Negatives:
* Pool area is in a shaded corner, so not good for getting sun
* No real views from the rooms, even on higher floors
* Relatively expensive
