What a hotel. We booked and paid online but the agent forgot to tell us about the renovations. Told the staff and they upgraded us to a massive apartment a long way from all the noise. The staff just can't do enough. Breakfasts are the best I've tasted and you have Robinsons Dept store right on your doorstep for all your shopping. One minor point was that we had two young children and the room had had smokers in it before. It hadn't been properly aired ( I don't think you can air a room enough) so we could still smell the smoke. Also finally the pool is freezing and only the diehardy get in.

Stayed at this hotel just for a few nights as part of my honeymoon. Booked and paid for a one bedroom with a cityview and was upgraded to a two bedroom with riverview. The rooms were enormous and had everything you could possibly wish for. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast was good although should be more comfie when the reno of the restaurant is done. Great position for the train (about 100m away) or the river ferries (about 200m) and built on top of Robinsons dept store. The area surrounding comes alive with street stalls at night and Silom is just a short Tuk Tuk ride away.

“Fantastic place to stay”

Centre Point Silom

I booked my stay of 3 nights through Asia Hotels at a good rate.. No problems with check in and my studio room was spacious and lovely. The staff was unbelievably attentive. even though some of the staff do not speak much English I did not find this to be a problem in any way; they go out of their way to help. A couple of the desk clerks seemed a bit snooty but were still helpful.

The location is excellent with easy access to Skytrain, many restaurants, shops and the river. I would definitely stay here again.

If I was pressed to come up with any complaint at all it would only be that the dryer takes forever and does not dry well and that saying that every room has a river view is a stretch. I could actually see a bit of the river in the distance form my room but would not call it river view. But those are 2 things that don't mean much and my stay here was one of my best while visiting Thailand. Fantastic value for the price, especially in this area of Bangkok.

“Excellent find in Bangkok”

Centre Point Silom

Jan 15, 2008

We arrived late after a long flight from London, the hotel is only about 40 mins from the airport, the check-in was smooth and the reception staff very friendly. Our room was huge - more like a very large flat (we even had a dressing room!). Hotel is in good location and has a Robinsons store attached with bureau de change, supermarket, mcdonalds etc. Breakfast selection was good, restaurant area overlooks the lovely pool. Room was very clean everyday and really did tick all the boxes for us. Would definately revisit if we come back to Bangkok again.

“Fantastic hotel with the most helpful and friendly staff”

Centre Point Silom

5/5 found this review helpful

We booked a 2 double bedroom suite and stayed for 4 nights. Room was spotless and VERY spacious. Having stayed at many 4*and 5* hotels, Centre Point Silom is among the top 5 for quality of service, courteous/efficient staff and facilities. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Hotel pool was clean and had a lovely roof top view. There's a department store conveniently located at the bottom of the hotel and a lovely fruit market nearby. In the afternoon/evening, there are plenty of street food stalls and a 24 hour 7/11 across the road. Sky train and boats are about 10-15 minute walk but taxi's are so cheap, we only used public transport twice! Would definitely recommend this hotel to couples and families. The staff were so helpful and friendly, it left a lasting impression and we will definitely be going back!
