Business serviceWe wanted to begin our two week trip to Thailand a good but not too expensive hotel. This was just the job. It's very new so has a really fresh feel and spacious. The room was a fantastic (went for their basic rooms) with a bed my wife is still raving about such was its size and comfort. The atrium in the middle of the hotel is very impressive but not so good if you suffer from vertigo as all the rooms are off the atrium.
The only down side (but it's the same with most hotels in Thailand) is that if you're looking to eat or drink in the hotel you might find it a bit of a budget buster - my wallet yelped when the bill came for three capuccinos! However, the hotel is in a great location with the sky train nearby and only a short taxi ride from lots of lovely places to eat.
A very nice hotel in a great location. It has not been open for very long which may explain why the price is so much cheaper than other hotels of the same class.
The room comes complete with everything you need, include S-Video/USB connections to allow you to use the flat screen TV as the display for your laptop.
Bathroom is behind glass walls in the middle of the room- pretty cool and very romantic. But you can draw down the shades if you want some privacy. The location is a block away from the SkyTrain and the Subway.
There are a variety of restaurants, which all seemed pretty good, the two I ate in were great. A spa is located on the 7th floor and until the end of March all the services are 50% off. There is a pool of course and even a putting green on the roof, though I never saw it.
A previous reviewer noted some problems in the finishing of the rooms and sure enough there were a few nobs that fell off on the doors. They need to go through each room and check everything over or in a few years it may look like its falling apart. But for now it rates an excellent for its great value for money in a good location. Treat yourself in Bangkok and stay here, you won't regret it.

Business serviceThe hotel has been open for only a few months, so nothing's worn; everything's in new condition. However, if I were the owner of the hotel I'd be suing the builder. There are too many little things that aren't quite right. For example, the cold water tap handle kept falling into the sink, one of the electrical boxes wasn't properly installed in the wall, and the little knob on the handle of the commode door fell off. The hot water tap handle was on the left side for the sink and the right side for the tub. Strange. On the plus side, when we mentioned the problem of the tap handle falling into the sink, someone repaired it immediately. When we had trouble getting onto the internet, an IT person was at our door in less than five minutes, and fixed the problem. These little problems in no way diminished our stay there. As I said, it's more of a concern to the corporate owner of the hotel to have received such shoddy finishing touches. Hopefully, all the many little problems will be repaired in time.
We paid $120 for a "deluxe" double room. Quite a bargain, even in inexpensive Thailand.
The staff was efficient, professional, and exceedingly helpful. Where do they find all those beautiful waitresses? The free breakfasts were great. A wide variety of very good food. We never ate lunch after those breakfasts, they were so good. The gym was superb. The swimming pool not so great. Just not appealing. The hotel's location across from the skytrain and next to the subway was extremely useful in getting around Bangkok.
I thought the charge of 150 baht to scan one page, and then another 150 baht to email it to myself -- a total of two minutes time of the attendant in the "business center" -- was excessive. So, if I had a 100 page document to scan, they would have charged me $450? I guess I'm just a cheapskate.
Overall, a really nice hotel and we had a great stay.

Business serviceI have never visited the hotel so I was a little apprehensive but it was Chinese New Year and I was booking at the last min. so I couldn't be choosy. The hotel is stylish without trying to hard. The breakfast is amazing and the service is so good. It is very cool what with the bossa nova and wonderful choices. The room is very nice with flat screen and personal bedroom lights that allow one to read without waking the spouse. But for me, the concierge is the single most important factor and I felt the concierge to be able to help with anything I asked. Overall the service was extrememly friendly and effecient. I even left the safe in our room open once and security was called and closed it for me. I liked the hotel and the service very much. I used ratestogo, com to get a much better rate than I could have gotten even by contacting the hotel directly. On the downside Laundry services are very expensive at the hotel and there isn't much in a 5 min. vecinity in terms of laundry mat or restaurants. And the pool is ismall and only gets sun in the morning.
