Pullman Bangkok is right where the sky train station is! It is so convenient to go anywhere from there. Two stations to the busiest town with shopping and everything makes this hotel perfect for our stay. We went out and explored the area around the hotel (Victory Monument) and that was so much fun. We loved the beautiful room. There were a pillow menu, a rubber duck, an aroma lamp (lit at night by the staff), a very friendly team of staff, the best orange juice, a big box of chocolate before going to bed, a massage chair in the business lounge, and a huge daybed in the room with two flat screen TVs and a very beautiful swimming pool. Everything was just so amazing for our weekend holiday.

Was really looking forward to staying here after reading all the reviews and I must say the hotel lived up to the reviews. The hotel is only new having opened in October 2007 I think and as such not all taxi drivers know where it is but once found it is worth it, it is near the Pratunam market area and an easy walk to the Indra Regent or Baiyoke hotels. The hotel has a very modern contemporary feel.

A nice touch is that like many hotels in Thailand you are offered a welcome drink on arrival but unlike some other hotels that hand the drink to you while you are filling in the check in forms this hotel gives you a voucher that you can use at the hotel bar or the poolside bar which I did.

My room was in the lower wing that wraps around an inner courtyard and had a great view of the courtyard and glass walled swimming pool. I didn’t really take advantage of any of the hotel bars and restaurants while I was there except for the swimming pool which is really nice and not crowded when I was there. There are three parts to the pool a children’s area plus another area that is shallow and has built in sun lounges and then the main part which has at one end a glass wall at the end which overlooks an inner courtyard.

The rooms in the wing I stayed in appear to be the same and while not a huge room they are a good size and are finished to a very high standard with some really nice touches. The small closet can be accessed from both the hallway and the bathroom as both sides have sliding doors which makes it easy to get to things from the room and the bathroom. The bathroom is great it has a large soaking tub with a shower attachment plus a separate shower stall with overhead rain shower and another handheld shower attachment, nice vanity with all the usual little bottles of shampoo and shower gel and a sliding panel that allows the bathroom to be opened up to the bedroom allowing you to have an outside view from the tub or shower. A lot of thought has gone into the room, there is plenty of lighting where you need it, power and data points are also easily accessible, they even have a little stationery kit, with stapler, scissors, paper clips and post it notes.

Check in was quick and efficent and all the staff I encountered were friendly and spoke English.

Cant say enough good thing s about this hotel especially for the price I paid which was 3600 Baht per night.

Just return from a three night stay and found this hotel to offer excellent value with its executive room package which offers a host of additional access and previleges at the Duty Free.

Kudos to the staff for preparing a surprise birthday cake for my wife. :-).

Enjoy the buffets galore at the hotel and the complex next door (missed that).

It is only within a short distance (15mins) from Central world/Siam Paragon by taxi, check that the taxi driver has reset their meter to 35baht before driving off to avoid getting ripped off...each trip should not cost more than 100 baht. Skytrain is great, but you might want to save the walking for the impressive malls. No wonder Bangkok is a shopping/food paradise in Asia.

Taxi to airport was just over 200 baht, speeding well over 130km/hr in a shuddering ride. Was glad to see the traffic cop appeared just before a bend forcing the cab to slow down... the wheels didn't come off...spending extra on airport transfer might have been a better idea.

We stayed at the Pullman hotel on the 17th of April 2008 (it should have been the 16th as well but I made a mistake with the date on our Krabi flight!!!) in an executive suite - and what a room - 2 rooms, 2 flat screen TV's, large sofa , 4 seater table, amazing bed, large shower and a HUGE bath!!!! The executive lounge experience was luxurious as the sun set over Bangkok. The hotel is modern throughout with amazing interior design .The level of service was faultless, the room was fantastic and we decided to spend all our time at the hotel. We have stayed at the Penninsular and several times at the Marriot Resort and Spa but the best time we have had is at the Pullman. All the staff were friendly, warm and efficient. We experienced the executive lounge, Glen's bar and had dinner at Deja- Vu (fabulously designed!!). Our meal there was superb putting the Marriot's equivelent (which was more expenssive!!!) to shame. Noom, our waiter,was professional and friendly and helped make our night with his level of service.

If you like contemporary you'll love this hotel.
