“Quaint, comfy hotel”

All Seasons Sathorn Bangkok

4 of 5 stars
Kuala Lumpur
Jun 26, 2008

All the previous reviews was reconfirmed when I stayed here. It is indeed a nice, modern-looking, quaint hotel with friendly staff.

Rooms are clean and are just nice for 2 people (superior room) since the room has 2 super-single beds - really don't reccomend more than 2 pax sharing a room since it's going to be crammed. The rain-bath shower and the fact that it is a new hotel is a definite plus.

Train station takes 15 mins to walk and it's easy to get a taxi from the hotel since it's in front of the main road and the hotel staff are nice enough to hail one for you.

Breakfast spread is good although not much variety. All in all, this hotel is worth the money spent and I'd reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok on a budget.

“Nice budget hotel”

All Seasons Sathorn Bangkok

This hotel is refurnished so the rooms and restaurant are quite new. The bed is comfy and room is clean and bright. Location is OK, about 12 min. to BTS. Easy to get a taxi.

“Good value, if you're not too picky”

All Seasons Sathorn Bangkok

Pattaya, Thailand

Overall, nice place. Room is a bit simple for some, tile floor, no carpet, simple furnishings. A/C worked great, very clean all around, no smells to report, no bugs. Nice flat screen t.v. with BBC, CNN and STAR MOVIES in English. Free breakfast included for all rates, which was pretty good and rather complete. One simple restaurant in hotel, not many other inexpensive restaurants within immediate walking distance.

If you get a room facing Sathon, it will be VERY noisy. Courtyard facing rooms, which are most of the rooms, were reasonably quiet.

Bathroom simple, but all worked well. Very clean all around. Nice big desk area to work with, and comfortable lounge chair to watch t.v. No views from windows, other than courtyard.

There is no pool at this hotel, but there might be a fitness center, i'm not certain about that.

Location is very central, but it will be about a ten minute walk to Lumpini MTR subway (you will be sweating in ten minutes). Or 15 minutes walk to Chong Nonsi BTS skytrain station.

There is a 7-11 convenience store about 3 minutes walk, open 24 hours.

Room decor is a bit modern colorful and loud for some, but it's all new and clean.

Free wifi in the room, but mine wouldn't work. They let me use the intenet in the lobby for free. Otherwise, i think it's 40 baht for 30 minutes to use. Lobby has small bar. Staff very polite and friendly. There is parking if you drive.

“Better than expected”

All Seasons Sathorn Bangkok

Jun 21, 2008

The All Seasons is in a great spot, next door to the Australian Embassy on Sathorn Road. The hotel is small and recently went through renovations. The lift is the smallest I have ever seen and the corridors appear like a dormitory but when you enter your room it is spacious, modern and very clean. For the price, which includes breakfast, we found it a pleasant stay and the staff were very helpful.

“No frill hotel”

Shenzhen

It's a refurbished hotel (old name was King).
Nice lobby, nice cafe (for breakfast & the only restaurant available in the entire hotel).

But it's clean, no carpet, no clothes cupboard & no bath tub in the room but that's enough for me as I just need a clean, decent place to bunk in for 2 nights.

Walking distance to Silom Centre & Suan Lum Night Bazaar where you can get a lot of food. Lumpini Park is also 15 minutes walk away.
Also MRT (Silom or Lumpini).

  • This TripAdvisor Member:
    • Liked — Free wi-fi, nice lobby, lots of magazine to read in the restaurant on the 2nd floor
    • Disliked — Quite a distance walk from shopping areas especially in the hot & humid weather of Bangkok.
