“Great Value/Wished We Stayed Longer”

Ephesus Princess Hotel

4 of 5 stars
Oxnard California
Jul 15, 2008

We stayed at the Ephesus Princess Hotel for one night after touring the local Ephesus historical area. The hotel is a large hotel on the ocean with great views. The rooms were simple and comfortable. We didn't know that it was all inclusive until we checked in, and we were happy with that. It was a great value when you add in the free drinks at the bar at night. We basically had a good buffet style dinner and drank as much alcohol as we wanted in the bar for free. I would definitely recommend you stay longer if you can so that you can take advantage of the pools, beach and food/drinks. The local Roman Historical area is a must see. We didn't talk to any other Americans while we were there but struck up some great conversations in the bar with Europeans from all over.

returned three days ago from ephesus princess, had a nice relaxing time, rooms are clean maid service everyday, mini bar refilled with soft drinks everday, downfall is there is lots of steps to the villas and around hotel quiet tiring climbin them all in soaring heat, food was nice plenty of choice, but, no bacon and sausage here.lots of russians and romianians there who were stacking up there plates as if they were never going to eat again and leaving it all, so annoyin at the huge waste they left! no manners either. lots of overweight germans too at this hotel with thongs and speedos on say no more on this, lol, but you get the picture.not many english here.entertainment ok.nothing outside hotel ie discos, bars etc, so bus is the only way if yu want a change.oh, food not available 24 hours so midnight snack is soup only ,so no good if you have proper munches! the english bar kickers is NOT free so beware yu will be charged!pool area clean, plently of loungers. staff freindly and helpful. nice hol would go back.

“Great hotel in such a small town”

Ephesus Princess Hotel

5 of 5 stars
Ventura, California
May 30, 2008

Stayed here in mid-May. We had driven from Izmir. The drive from Izmir isnt too far. Maybe 1 1/2 hours. We arrived to Ephesus in the afternoon. It was perfect because there were hardly any people around. We went straight to the St Jean Basilica as that is the first thing you see as your coming in. After we drove to the historical sites and was very greatful it was late afternoon as we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We were able to see everything and take pictures of everything with no one in the photos.
We then moved on to our hotel. The hotel looks like it takes all of one side of the mountain. Huge! The hotel was beyond what I had expected. As it turned out it was all-inclusive so the price I paid was great. We got to eat dinner and have alcoholic drinks. The dinner was buffet style but the food was very good and fresh. After dinner we went to the bar and the bartender was so great. We taught him how to make a couple of drinks mixing the tang and vodkas. That was fun.
In the morning we woke up to a rainy morning. Since we were only staying one night we didnt really mind it. We were driving to Bodrum that morning. The facilities here are very clean. The beds are little hard for my taste. I would most definitely stay here again. There really isnt much to do in Ephesus but Im sure it would have been nice to enjoy the hotel a little more if we had more time. I did get a massage in the spa. It was very nice. It wasnt a deep tissue massage. Just very light but enough to make me feel relaxed. My travel buddy received a turkish bath and massage. He recommended that no one get a turkish bath unless you want to get beat up because he said that is what it felt like. No joke! Couple of days after the turkish bath he had bruises. And my friend is not a little guy. The massage is not included in the price.

Hello everyone...
