We got incredible rates during our stay, about half the price listed. If we had to pay the whole price, it may not have been worth the money. We stayed the week before the Passover holiday, so there were fewer children running wild while their parents took their naps. Despite the name, there are only 20 rooms facing the sea/airport/east side with actual patios you can enjoy. Although the rooms aren't any larger, they are worth your stay to try to engage one. We changed to a patio room since our first room needed serious renovation. (It was unpleasant to have a room with burn holes in the carpet and things falling apart.) Our patio room, which we got for the same price, was right off the atrium. Our stay from then on was very pleasant. There were two very efficient (fast) glass elevators, many comfortable couches and tables in the lobby area to gather with friends, and there were tables off the atrium (light, bright eating area) where we saw you could enjoy your own food from outside the hotel. Don't look for water boilers in the rooms or other amenities. Bring your own. The concierge was wonderful and well informed and helped us book a semi-private day cruise--the best money we had ever spent for entertainment in Eilat! ALL the staff was friendly and eager to please.
