I just returned from my second trip to Tel Aviv, staying both times for 5 nights in the Dan Panorama.
The first time I had a room on the 12th floor, which was large and very comfortable. Last time the room on the fifth floor facing Jaffa was similarly furnished, but not as big. In any case the double bed is huge (2x2,10m). The fridge was in bad shape in the smaller room, with no mini bar. Now, in winter the outdoor pool is of course not in service, which I missed. All rooms have a lovely view onto the beach. The stretch of Alma Beach is just being remodelled (new palm trees and flower beds planted) and will probably look very nice next summer. Once you crossed the busy street to the beach, you can go only lovey strolls along the promenade.
The food is overwhelmingly plentyful and diverse. When the hotel is full they have everything from continental to American breakfast with pancakes, various Asian dishes, pastas, various freshly ground fruit juices and smoothies, ample of fruit, vegetables and lovey assortments of breadrolls and pastries. MInd you this is called BREAKFAST, but I lived of it almost all day!
Staff is very helpful and discrete. The rooms are very clean and little bathroom items are being exchanged daily (e.g. soap).
