“Loved the hotel”

Gardenia Hotel

4 of 5 stars
Michigan

I stayed with my wife in this hotel from June 20th to June 24th. The hotel location is very strategic and central, hotel rooms had efficient air conditioning and very functional kitchenette. The rooms were spacious and the furniture was acceptable. Cleanliness was very good. The hotel room was quiet. The price we payed included a good breakfast with a wide variety of selections. I strongly recommend this hotel for short term stays in Amman, Jordan.

“Attractive Hotel in Amman”

Gardenia Hotel

Jun 23, 2008

Very attractive hotel, if you get one of the renovated rooms.
Clean, bright. Comfortable. Nice breakfast buffet. Wireless internet available.

Hotel staff are helpful, but do not always understand your English- an example: We asked for directions to a specific Royal Jordanian Airlines office- so that we could give the cab driver precise info in Arabic. They wrote down the wrong Royal Jordanian office.

“Great Hotel”

The Gardenia is a well-located hotel in the heart of Amman. My daughter and I stayed in the hotel for 3 days and we had a very comfortable double room with a little built-in kitchenette. The room was large, with a good bathroom attached, and the kitchenette was well equipped. The hotel is clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The housekeeping services were excellent. The only aspect that we did not like was the quality of the breakfast, which was pretty bland and unimaginative. Other than that, we enjoyed every moment of our stay there and would certainly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable stay without having to pay too much.
There is a supermarket (Safeway) located 2 minutes away from the hotel. I would recommend that you buy your supplies (including drinking water) from there rather than using the things kept in the refigerator in the room... you will save a lot that way. eg a bottle of water will cost you a third of what you will pay in the hotel.

“Fantastic!”

This hotel is absoloutly great! I stayed there for 5 weeks, in a suite. Which was very nice, consisting of 2 rooms, living room which had a nice kitchen and a sofa bed that 2 people can sleep on, and a bedroom + bathroom. The bathrooms are very good, spacious and clean. My stay was for business, although my family came with me. where my daughter slept on the sofa bed. There is a car rental office in the hotel which gives very reasonable prices, as well I used the complementery garage. Breakfast was very good, although I expected to get bored from it with such a long stay, but fortunatly the variety is changed all the time! The hotel provides rooms and services higher than its class at a very reasonable price! the lobby looks pretty luxurious, as well the hotel provides a meeting room which my company used. The location is prime, A large local supermarket/superstore is 5 minutes away. As well a street called Gardens street is 10 minutes away, which is a great place for shopping! This hotel fits any purpose of stay in Jordan, whether tourism, business or pleasure! I deeply recommend this hotel!
