“Awful Hotel - Rip-off”

I stayed in this hotel during the huge IDEX show. The rooms were $450 a night! This was a 2 star hotel at best. The rooms were tired, the public areas shabby. There is no in-room Internet and the 'Internet Cafe' is three notebooks setup in the lobby.

Check in took 30 minutes with utterly inept staff. The check out was equally bad at 20 minutes. There was no line in either case... just chaotic paperwork in both cases.

Worst of all, the Lebanese restaurant on the 3rd floor has a band playing until 4AM on at least Sat, Sun and Mon night. Do NOT stay below the 6th floor - you will get no sleep.

This hotel is certainly not a 5 star. The service was terrible (I arrived at 10pm after a long flight and my room wasn't ready for me - I had to wait 45 minutes!!), standards of cleanliness were poor, noisy aircon, dirty curtains and bedlinen, then to cap it all there was noise and cigarette smoke from the neighbouring rooms until gone 2am and loud music blaring all night)
I would advise you book elsewhere!
