I stayed at the Eaton Hotel for 4D 3N- attended a course that was run at the hotel. The hotel staff were pleasant, friendly & helpful- very service-oriented. The meeting room was impressive, well-equipped but the air-con was cold- thermostat didn't seem to work.

However, the room that I shared with a friend was terribly small- two single twin beds that would be great for small/ short people, plus there was hardly any space for luggage.

The Chinese restaurant had great food though.

I arrived at the hotel at about 1am. Hotel staff were friendly & helpful. The bell boy even refused to take the tip from me. The reception / check in counter is at level 4 (if I can still remember). The room, bathroom & lift might be slightly too small but was ok for Hong Kong.

The rooms & bathroom are very new & very clean. I think they newly renovated it. The room & bathroom were smartly designed to make full use of the small space. It's comfortable with I-Home designs. The multiplugs were smartly covered just above the desks. and the room has floor night lights. Good for me as I had to make milk for my daughter in the middle of the night.

The location is in the middle of Nathan Road famous for night markets, good food, near MTR, etc.

Eaton Hotel in Hong Kong was an outstanding experience. I can honestly say the only thing that I did not like about the hotel was that it was located on Nathan Road. I had never been to Hong Kong, but quickly found out that I absolutely destest Nathan Road. I felt like I was being accosted every 5 steps by a tailor...so annoying. Other than that, I absolutely loved the hotel. The staff treats everyone like royalty. We reserved the cheapest room, but it was unavailable when we checked in so they upgraded us for free to the Executive room. It was much bigger than I expected with a sofa. 24 hour room service. The internet is a bit pricey, about $15 a day. The hotel restaurants are also a bit pricey but have delicious food. It's a bit of a walk to the harbour and I don't recommend the walk down Nathan, unless that is your kind thing. The hotel is very close to the Night Market and the Jade Market, both worth a visit. I loved the Eaton and can highly recommend it for it value and quality. Personally, if I could pick the hotel up and move it to Stanley, I would stay there every time I went to Hong Kong. Kowloon, just wasn't my thing, but if it is yours, I highly recommend the Eaton. You won't be sorry.

We have just returned from Hong Kong and had a 6 night stay at the Eaton hotel. I did a lot of research on this site & others on this holiday as it was a surprise 40th birthday present for my girlfriend & the Eaton in principle appeared to tick all the boxes. The first good thing about this hotel is its location. An excellent base for exploration, just off Nathan Road where buses run frequently and cover all of the key areas in Kowloon; and also 3 minutes from Jordan Metro. A lot of the big attractions are just a short walk or bus/metro ride away, such as Kowloon Park, The waterfront, plus the main museums & markets, I booked a deluxe room & we were on the 18th floor. Check in was simplicity in itself, reception & concierge were very helpful, friendly and informative. The room itself was very clean and well presented. The bed was firm, spacious and comfortable. The a/c was fully adjustable. The flat screen TV, the remote control light panel and the I-home Ipod player was a really nice touch. The rooms are not oversized but I personally think its all relative. If you are going to stay in it 24/7 then you probably get cabin fever. We were out exploring most of the time and when in the hotel we chilled out in the ample spaced Planters Bar or the lovely garden area, so room size was not an issue. The food in the main restaurant was first class with a choice of buffet or al-a-carte. Some other reviews say that it is expensive, but I believe that you really do get what you pay for. The steak was sumptuous & they even had a chocolate fountain..! The buffet breakfast was diverse and the restaurant staff were usually on point. The 24 hour Gym is not very big but it has all the things in it you need for a total cardio-physical workout and I could find no fault. The complementary towels, bottled water & fresh fruit again was a nice touch. The Pool was open and even though we did not use it, it was in pristine condition.
I think this hotel is first class and recommend it very highly. I though it was excellent value for money, extremely comfortable and friendly. Well done Eaton Hotel…
