We arrived here at 9 am totally wrecked after no sleep on the flight from London. The staff were worked off their feet due to massive checkouts that morning after a conference. But they did their best to get a room cleaned for us quickly so we could get some sleep (although
official check in time was not for another 5 hours)

The room was a good size and well appointed. The bed was a big queen or king size, very comfy and fresh, I didn't notice any noise from renovating, though I believe it is still going on. The lobby is cramped, but I expect this will be sorted by the work currently being undertaken. Porters were also great with our bags and let us leave them there on checkout day, then advised us when our pick up bus arrived and put them on the bus for us.

Close to rather a nice Botanic Gardens (off Nathan Road), great on HK's hot humid days, a bit of an oasis in the city.

My husband and I were on a short trip to enjoy ourselves (shop and eat and shop and eat) in the city of Hong Kong and we were advised to stay at Park Hotel as it just got renovated. We wasn't quite sure if the agent's giving us good advice then cos we wanted to stay at Nathan Hotel initially.

When we reached the place, it was STILL renovating (lift lobby area), mind you, but the service and cleanliness of the room is really good. I like the cosy room that we had. It's spanking new and clean. Even though we opt for the smoking room (as there wasn't any double bedroom from the non-smoking area), there wasn't ANY stale smoke smell (perhaps it's just renovated?)

The location is good too. You just need to walk about 5 min and the MTR of Tsim Sha Tsui is just down the street. If you are looking for some boutique designer fashion shopping, it's just at the back of the hotel at Granville Road. We visit that place almost everyday. :)

Harbour City is also within walking distance. Staff at the reception counter are very helpful and friendly. When asked about the directions of getting anywhere, they're always ready to fish out their very own Hong Kong Map and directory to show you the place.

If we are to visit Hong Kong again, I'm quite sure we'll be back there at Park Hotel, without the renovation by then. :)

stayed at Park with family last august by again relying on fellow trip-advisors' good reviews of this hotel. AGAIN, TA is very accurate. we loved Park!! the twin rooms we got were new, very nice, and clean. nice modern decors and electronic switches to boot. definitely a plus is the clean toilet n bath which is a must for me. though the reception/lobby area is small (part of renovation) and during that time i think the hotel is fully booked so we were made to wait 2hrs for the 2nd room to be ready (we requested for 2 adjacent rooms). but it's just ok since we just brought our stuff to the available room and toured off the nearby streets. there are plenty of shops/boutiques around the hotel, 7eleven just around the corner, there are 2 mcdonalds (one across the street, the other just 2 blocks away), several restos and food shops arround. 1st- you'll never go hungry, 2nd- plenty of shopping around the hotel, 3rd- very near transportation (5mins to mtr tst, taxis around), 4th- area is safe even late at night, 5th- friendly hotel staff, 6th- newly renovated hotel. so what more can you ask for?!! we will definitely stay at park again and recommend this to others too =)

Location: About a 3 min walk from the Tsim Sha Tsui subway stop (exit B2). Extremely convenient.

Appearance of Hotel: The lobby and some areas are still under renovations so the appearance isn't perfect. For example, lobby check-in area is lacking space & elevator/stairwell signs are not 100% obvious/visible. Note that the above is just an observation and it should not affect your stay. That being said....the hotel is clean and nicely decorated.

Quality of Guestroom: All rooms are now renovated. We asked for and got a Queen bed w/ shower (I believe most rooms are doubles with bath). The room was well decorated and furnished. In addition, lighting, cleaniness, noise, amenities (mini bar, tv), climate control were all perfectly fine.

Service/Check-in/Check-out: Above average. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. Front desk staff was efficient and freindly as well. Check in and out was relatively easy with a minor wait (no more than 5 mins) both times. Internet service (at a charge) worked very well too. Minor inconvenience were slow elevators (I believe they are under renovations too) but once again should not really affect your stay.

Surroundings: Located on a very busy corner (I guess it's busy everywhere in HK!) in Tsims Sha Tsui. Tons of establishments withing 5 mins walking distance including: banks, restaurants, fast food, desserts, clothing, electronics, pharmacy, laundry, museums, ferry...list goes on. There is also a basketball court nearby. It was exactly what we wanted.

Overall: I would stay here again due the great value (I got a long stay package through the hotel) and my experiences with this hotel. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, friendly, clean and affordable hotel.
