I recently stayed at the Mulia hotel on my first visit to Jakarta. I was very pleased with the facilities and the friendliness of the staff. The décor is large and interesting with loads of detail and features, much more impressive than your usual hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable with good facilities for doing work while on business. The overall facilities are very good and business centre is well appointed. There are very good specialty restaurants and an excellent café with a multi cuisine buffet. The food was fresh and there was a very large variety. The hotel is very good value for money for a five star facility. I would highly recommend it and will look to stay there on future visits to Jakarta.

I stayed in the Mulia for 3 weeks, whilst my parents stayed for 2 months. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in with beautiful lobby and large rooms, an impresive buffet breakfast, a wide variety of restaurants (the japanese is particually good), a good gym and most importantly very attentive, friendly staff whole went beyond the call of duty to make our stay comfortable. One night at the indian section of the buffet in the main restauant the chef made a special tandori chicken dish for my brother (without us asking)as there was none that night and my brother had said how much he liked it! this along with being greeted by name by most staff members were just examples of the exceptional service.

My stay in the hotel Mulia was perfect.

Loved the staff who were very friendly. Security was second to none.

Rooms are quite big. The beds are amazingly comfortable & the personal touches with the fresh fruit each morning is superb.

Facilites itself are excellent with various restaurants to choose from & the chill out lounge & bar was very nice.

I travelled on business but if ever in Jakarta for business or pleasure then the Mulia is the place for me. Truely a 5 star asian hotel

It was my maiden trip to Jakarta. And Mulia Senayan is where most of us stay everytime we have to work in Jakarta.

Arrived at the hotel to be greeted by tight security. First impression was already there.

Check In was fine. My booking disappeared no thanks to some miscommunication mix up (not hotel's fault) but the check in staff handled me very well.

My room was located on the 8th Floor. My company booked me a standard room but it looked more like a junior suite. Everything I needed and more was there.

Booked a wake up call at 7.45am the following day. I must have been so tired that I did not hear the wake up call. Then, there was a knock on the door. On opening, there was this uniformed person who said "Sir, this is your wake up call". I have not gotten this treatment anywhere else I have been.

Everytime I call to ask for something, I was served within 5 minutes.

Breakfast spread was aplenty and spoilt for choice.

CJ's offered a wonderful place to wind down the day. A bar with a really great atmosphere, a great live band and wonderful clubbers.

I had a glorious 4 days of work and pleasure.

Without a doubt, as a frequent traveller, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed anywhere in the world. No arguments. Mulia Senayan does not deserve the five star rating. A definite six star for me.
