“A faultless stay at Dave's.”

I have just come back from a wonderful stay at Dave's Straw Hat Inn on the beautiful island of Boracay. It was so nice after such a long journey to be given such a warm welcome...the staff instantly made us feel at home and presented us with a lovely iced tea, their own recipe. We were put in a cottage next to our friends' which was nice. The rooms were good and very clean with towels on the bed folded into flowers - a very nice touch! They were cleaned daily to a very high standard.

The bar/restaurant area was a lovely place to sit and read and have a cold beer at the end of the day. The whole place is planted with gorgeous, lush tropical plants and flowers which hang over the little pathways that lead to the different cottages. At night there are lights in the trees and along the paths and a candle is put on your terrace to keep the mosquitos away. It was thoughtful touches like this that made the stay even more pleasurable. It was also very useful to have wireless internet and an abundance of books you could borrow/exchange/buy.

The island itself is beautiful, and the inn is 3 minutes walk from White Beach which is one of the nicest I have ever seen. Because the inn is set back from the beach a little, it is much quieter and peaceful than those that are right on it. The sunsets especially are amazing.

I recommend to anyone coming to Boracay to stay at Dave's and I would definately stay there again if I came back. The staff are so wonderful and helpful and really do assist to your every need, whether it be doing your laundry or giving advice on island activities

Hi we really enjoyed our stay at Dave's straw hatinn.
It's a wonderful place, with cleam rooms and very nice and friendly and helpful staff.
We really recomend this place to our friends and other peoples.
We really hope that we can come back to you again.

We just returned from 3 nights at Dave's. The only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The location is quiet, well kept and beautiful. The room was clean, food good and best of all was the staff. I have traveled a fair bit and can say they were the friendliest, most welcoming and helpful staff I have ever experienced. If I ever get a chance to return to Boracay, I will definitely stay at Dave's Straw Hat Inn again.

Hmm what can I say about my stay at your resort.. My brother and I had a wonderful time during our visit in Boracay. Janet and her friendly staff went above and beyond to cater to us. We felt so welcome, kinda liked long lost relatives rather than paying guest.
The place is peaceful, relaxing and just wonderful.
To sum it all we do highly recommend it!!!Hoped to see you guys and gals soon.. maybe in a couple of years.

We stayed in Daves Starw Hat Inn Boracay...Feb to March. We had the best time. Not only were the staff great, they were the best. I was greeted with a smile everday. I was called by my name. My room was cleaned on a daily basis. I have a million and one pictures to upload, but will up load them another time. My favorite staff...Esia (I think that is how her name is spelled), shy but charming. The smile on her face would brighten any room...I just wanted to say a special thanks to Janet and her staff of having us as a guest and being part of the Straw Hat Family. All good things must come to an end, I am now back at work. Thinking of the next time I will return to my home away from home. I miss all the staff there at Straw Hat Inn. Again thank you for letting me be part of your family. Andy and Mark
