We stayed here on the way to and from New Zealand. Two nights on the way and one night on the way back. We upgraded to executive room with two small children. The facilities for executive room guests were super. Free internet use and lovely drinks and canapes from 6 - 8 each evening. The staff were super, friendly and helpful and on the way back from Auckland it felt like coming home. Would stay again no problem. The kids loved the roof top pool. The rooms were clean and beds were turned back each night.

I was in Singapore to attend a conference and stayed here for 3 nights in April. This was my 3rd visit to Singapore. The hotel is placed extremely close to the middle of orchard road. About 3 minutes by walk.

Check in was quick and I was in my room in a few minutes after entering the hotel. The hotel staff were efficient and courteous throughout my stay.

I stayed in a Deluxe room. The room was very clean, spacious and quiet.The bathroom was clean too and adequate. (Very important!). The view outside my room wasnt great (was overlooking an alley), but I have no complaints against that since I wasnt there on vacation. I don't think most visitors to Singapore should be spending much time in their room, since its such a vibrant city to explore.

The hotel didnt seem to be very crowded. They have a bar which wasn't very crowded on the weekend nights, with live music. I didnt sample the hotels, but did order room service on one occasion... the food was average, but not too bad.

In summary, a very nice hotel. I would definitely recommend it for the business traveller. Hard to find much wrong with it!

We checked into this hotel last minute with no reservation as we needed to spend one more night in Singapore before we could fly home.

The First impression of the hotel walking through the doors is good, the reception area/lobby is decorated very nicely creates a nice welcome.

The reception staff were very helpful and very friendly. They convinced us to upgrade to an executive level room which was worth the dosh. It included free drinks in the evening between 6 and 8 if i remember correctly, free internet, and breakfast in the morning.

The room was quite dated but comfortable enough, can't say is was impressed, but no major complaints.

The staff in the executive lounge were brilliant, i never had an empty glass and they were always there ready to serve.

The location is good, right off Orchard road and close to all the shopping you sould want.

would stay here again.

Checked in around 1 AM local time, had a smiling face waiting to open the door and carry my bags directly to my room. check in took all of about 1 minute and I was able to get right to bed. Had a beautiful view from a very nice room on the 8th floor executive level. I highly recommend upgrading to this level for a couple bucks more a night because the use of the executive lounge is well worth it for conducting business meetings and breakfast and happy hour with decent sushi, Tiger Beer, and a truly delectable Cabernet. Your within two blocks of Orchard Street shopping and nightlife. If you head that way and go across Istana Park to the English Pub directly behind the hotel. Great place to catch a night cap and watch some Rugby or Football(Real Football not the American stuff). I highly recommend getting a tall Kilkenny draft from the makers of Guinness, can't get it here in the States, but really a great brew!
All in all, great service, decent price and overall a very good experience.
