We were here for 3 nights with OAT. Our room was rather small , overlooking the central courtyard. Adequate facilities, safe & hairdryer, only a double bed for 2 of us, so a bit cramped.
Our problem was that the front desk was being torn out and replaced, which involved a lot of hammering and drilling. OK, they have to do it sometime but shouldn't it all be over for the day at 6pm?? We had to be up early next day for the Macchu Picchu train etc,. so did not appreciate constant construction noises and builder's shouting until after 9.30 in the evening, despite phone calls requesting peace and quiet. The management were obviously more concerned with their project than with their guests' comfort.
