This is a wonderful, quaint little hotel in a great location with wonderful customer service. I was able to make my reservations via e-mail prior to leaving the U.S. The hotel also made all of my tour arrangements for Machupicchu, again, via e-mail prior to me leaving the U.S. The rate included breakfast for two, transfers both ways between the airport, and two welcome drinks, the ubiquitous Peruvian Pisco Sour. The hotel is right around the corner from the Plaza Mejor and within easy walking distance of two Fodor's recommended restaurants. The staff was great and spoke fluent English, the breakfast was good (included hot dogs) and the bar was nice. Our room was huge with a fireplace though I'm not sure all the rooms were this size. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cusco. Two words of caution, though. The hotel is three floors but does not have an elevator. And, our room was on the street side of the hotel. Drivers in Peru feel compelled to honk constantly, at all times of the night. My wife has some trouble getting a good night's sleep so you may want to request a room at the back of the hotel.
