“great times in cusco casa andina rocks”

Casa Andina Cusco Catedral

5 of 5 stars
Tampa, Florida
Feb 6, 2008

Our stay at Casa Andina was more than pleasant the room was comfortable, quiet, and not overpriced, Breakfast was great and thier attentive staff gave us excellent service . We felt comfortable and safe both in the hotel and in the nieghborhood outside the hotel. Because of it's location we were able to tour several of the local sites by foot and we ventured out often.
Casa Andina Cusco Catedral is just a block away from the Plaza De Armas with easy access to shopping and restataunts in the plaza, and just a few blocks away from the town market place ,if you cant find what your looking for there it's probably not in Peru. We were completly satisfied with this hotel and our stay at Casa Andina Cusco Catedral. We will recommend it to our friends and anyone going to Cusco.

“Great Location!”

Casa Andina Cusco Catedral

4 of 5 stars
Chicago, Illinois
Jan 29, 2008

I had stayed at a Casa Andina in Lima but this one was so much better. It's in a great location. Just off of the arms plaza where everything is happening. I had arranged a car pick up from the airport in Cusco and Casa Andina has a kiosk to help new arrivals who are staying at their hotel. The gentleman behind the desk greeted me with a bottle of water and offered a cup of coca tea. My driver took me straight to the hotel and once at the hotel they refused to let me carry my bags. While checking in, I was offered a cup of coca tea which I accepted. It's pretty good! My room was basic and clean. My first room, the toilet didn't have enough space between the commode and the wall so my knees were up against the wall. I guess it wasn't designed for people with long legs. My final night after my visit to Machu Picchu, I stayed in a room facing the main street.. I must say, Cusco must be the New York City of Peru. It never slept! There was house music from local clubs playing until the wee hours of the morning. Fireworks going off, car horns...it didn't really bother me but if you're sensitive to noise, bring earplugs. The breakfast buffet was awesome. You had a choice of eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, fruit, cold cereal, etc. Very yummy.

“Your best option in Cusco-very comfortable hotel and great customer service”

Casa Andina Cusco Catedral

Oct 20, 2007

After spending 2 sleepless nights at Torre Dorada we went to Casa Andina at the recommendation of a local friend. While the hotel is not cheap (we paid $140 a night for a triple), it is excellent value. teh staff goes out of their way to be helpful from check in to booking tours to breakfast.
The rooms were closest to U.S. standards that i have experienced in Latin America, clean, quiet, satellite tv, all the amenities you expect from home.
Breakfast was delicious, with eggs, french toast, fruits, home fries, bacon, fresh squeezed juices, cocoa and coffee.
i highly recommend this Cusco treasure!

“Awesome location”

Casa Andina Cusco Catedral

May 10, 2007

At only a 30 seconds' walk from the Plaza de Armas, the main square of Cusco, the location of this hotel cannot be beat. The staff is a friendly lot, the hotel is clean and secure and there is always complimentary mate de coca in the lobby. The breakfast, included in the price, is bountiful (including alpaca meat to put on your breakfast sandwich!) and contributes to the overall good hotel experience this Casa Andina has to offer.
