In short, there is no faulting the Hotel Michele.

On arrival at the Hotel Michele, a short uphill stroll from Sarajevo's main street you might be forgiven for thinking twice about your hotel choice, but on entering the grand old building you immediately sense the quality of accomodation.

Initially, we were welcomed by friendly staff who provided an introduction to Sarajevo and all it has to offer, in short, the perfect concierge service without the pretention of suited hotel chain generals.

Then, onto the rooms/apartments ..embarassingly big with lounge and bedrooms, all the facilities you need and each room unique in old fashioned european grandure ..... throw in a fantastic breakfast and you could not wish for a more pleasant experience .... perfect !

I have just recently stayed at this hotel. I would recommend this as the not only the best hotel in Sarajevo, but the most secure. The hotel is a family run establishment that caters to your every need. They are the comsumate professionals, extremely friendly and above all, weather you are the celebrity who wants security and privacy, or the business traveler who has been through the hassle and grind of airports, disappointment or the disconnect of other hotels, this is the sea in the dessert.

From the moment you arrive, you realize that you get what you see on the net. You suddenly feel that you have come to see friends that have been waiting for you. You have complete privacy, and complete access at the same time. You have the comfort of serenity, all the facilities for work or just relaxing, with the center of the city for business, a selection of restaurants, music, and shopping with just a five minute walk.

It really is the best hotel in the city!!

We have just returned from our long weekend in Sarajevo, we had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel Michele Sarajevo, great location - few steps from center ! cheerful, polite & and very friendly staff made our staying perfect.

After I have found this hotel website I knew that this must be something special. Decor and interior design is excellent. Also the welcoming was like I am some famous movie star. After spending 6 productive business days working in my apartments i felt like at home. Breakfast was so great and I got addicted to their cakes.
I was surprised they didn't charge for laundry and for the cakes and coffees. They are very nice and discrete and I would recommend Hotel Michele's apartment 42 to anyone who likes great place to stay.
