This was our first trip to Managua. Our flight did not arrive until 1:00 am. Manfred (hotel owner) had somebody pick us up at the airport and take us to the hotel. We got to the hotel about 2:00 am and a security guard took us to our room (if you have never been to Nicaragua they have security guards at every facility and store). The room was comfortable with AC. Breakfast was okay. They will make what you want. Try the Gallo Pinto (beans and rice) and some eggs.
We will definately stay here again when we go back to Nicaragua.

I booked my room at La Pyramide based on trip advisor reviews and the advice I received was correct. The Hotel owners are really what makes it such a great place. When I was there, they went out of their way to accomodate me. The rooms are unique and lovely. The surroundings are an oasis in a not very pretty city. It was a great place to stay flying in an out of Managua. The only negative part of my experience there was that it ruined me for other hotels in Nicaragua.

We highly recommend the Pyramide in Managua to anyone interested in a warm, intimate environment with super-attentive staff. When we arrived in the middle of the night, the proprietor Manfredo was there to greet us warmly and get us situated. He also had arranged the ride from the airport for $15.00.

The rooms were modest but quiet and immaculate with cable TV and private showers. The breakfasts were outstanding and the offerings were many. Fruit and fruit juices were A-1. Manfredo was an interesting fellow (originally from Germany) whose open and easy going-nature were contagious. He answered many questions and helped us out with recommendations and directions. My friends and I really relaxed there. We were even able to have a Pizza Hut pizza delivered to the Pyramide while watching the US election returns. This hotel has a lot to offer at a very reasonable price.

I stayed at La Pyramde for a week. It was close to where you want to be in Managua. The complimentary breakfast was good.. The room was spacious, The airconditioner worked well. I enjoyed the staff and the accomdations. It is a small interesting hotel and added to the adventure of my trip. This has more of the bed and breakfast feel which I enjoyed. The price was the best part. Can you stay somewhere cheaper-sure but not in a good area. This is right by Zona Hipos and is where you want to be in
Managua.
