This is a reasonable business travellers hotel. Location about 15 minutes from the airport, in the 'old' city.
The hotel airport pick up service was efficient, and the hotel was able to provide an early (but charged) check-in.
Accomodation consists of suites. Mine was a bedroom, bathroom and seperate lounge with a small kitchenettte area. The kitchenette area is largely irrelevent as eating out in Dubai is very cheap - an anyone paying to stay at this hotel is not going to bother to do any cooking in the room.
The Hotel has a cafe / resturant, but does not have a bar - so you have to go to another hotel if you want an alcholic drink.
The hotel is clean, the rooms of a good standard, but not exceptional.
Breakfast is a buffet. Again, reasonably good, with fresh juices served and eggs cooked to order. Service a little slow, so allow a bit of extra time.
A general note about Dubai. Getting a taxi is difficult at the best of times. Give reception at least 30 minutes notice if you want one - more at peak times.
The hotel is surrounded by buildings under construction - on three sides. However it was not noisy, and as a business traveller, this did not concern me. On a more positive note, there is a huge shoppping mall just across the road - which is open most night until 11.30pm - again great for the business traveller.
