Business serviceHave read lots of reviews over the years on TripAdvisor but haven't felt compelled to write my own, until now. We have just stayed at Le Royal Meridien Beach and Spa Resort, Dubai and what a wonderful family hotel experience it is.
My wife and I travelled with our 17 month old daughter, and the hotel couldn't have made our stay more comfortable.Every member of staff was polite, courteous and eager to help in any way possible. Even when our daughter unfortunately fell quite ill during our stay ,the clinic, doctors and staff were fantastic and very reassuring with their level of care.
The hotel itself is beautifully appointed and well laid out. We stayed in a deluxe room in the main building which had plenty of space for the 3 of us.
Breakfast in the Brasserie was fantastic with great choice available. Cereals, Bread, pastries, waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit, traditional hot fare, even sushi!!
The hotel has numerous fantastic restaurants all serving fabulous food. We were very pleased as we are very particular when it comes to the standard of food abroad. Again great choice of food on offer with steaks, italian, thai, malaysian, lebanese, fish, mediteranean, japanese and mexican to name most of them.
Our favourite was Al Khaima by the beach, a fantastic lebanese meze in a beautiful setting by the beach.
The pool areas are lovely and clean with ample sun loungers and towels, with very attentive staff on hand. Very safe with Lifeguards always on duty.Great tray service by the pool, staff come round with cold towels and ice fruit drinks through the day. There is also a nice restaurant by the pools area serving great snacks. There is an abundance of green space for kids to run around in too.
This hotel is wonderful for kids. They just adore them. They have great kids clubs for all ages with fully qualified trained staff, and there is also a nanny service. We didn't use these services as our little one was too young, but heard from other guests that they were very good.
What makes this hotel special is the attention to detail and classy touches, such as the night-time turn down service you get lovely chocolates and a proverb for the day, a free newspaper every day, someone to help you with sun loungers and parasols by the pool, the care shown to young children, all help to make for a wonderful, relaxing stay.
The hotel has every facility and amenity you could wish for, and nothing is too much trouble for them. From booking restaurants, sightseeing trips, taxis, shopping, business services.I could list every single thing but it would take forever. Needless to say we will be visiting Dubai again and wouldn't hesitiate to stay at this hotel again. Already hoping we'll go back next year!! Would thoroughly recommend to all, especially young families.

Business serviceI stayed here with my Family in January this year and we all agreed on what an excellent hotel this is. The staff were excellent and the level of service that you receive from them is fantastic - they make you feel like royalty! We have a one year old little boy and they treated him so well and really spoilt him - everybody in the hotel knew him by name by the end of our holiday! The hotel is spotless, the rooms are lovely and the food is great. The hotel grounds and the beach are also stunning! We have already booked to come back in September and are also looking into having our wedding at the hotel next year! I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you have children.

Business serviceA superb hotel with excellent service. We've just come back from a week here and can really recommend the hotel.
Usually we find very attentive service to be a bit too much but it is done here so you feel extremely well looked after but not fawned upon. One example is the beach service; staff walk round every few minutes for food and drink orders when you need them, a complimentary mini ice slush is offered as is a cold towel to cool you down. When you arrive on the beach, don't even try to arrange your towel on your lounger yourself - out of nowhere they appear to do this for you.
Also very impressive is the size of the grounds. There are 3 swimming pools all with plenty of loungers and sunshades, various garden areas and then there is the beach, so you can always get somewhere and there is no need to 'towel bag' your lounger.
There are 15 restaurants between this hotel and its partner hotel the Grovenor and we ate in these. We found them expensive but the food was good and prices are probably only in line with the usual cost of eating in hotel restaurants, but we wanted a lazy week so this was what we chose to do.
Tip: Make sure you get a sea view room so you can avoid looking onto the continuous building work going on in Dubai.

Business serviceWell what can i say except absoloutely amazing. I decided to take my girlfriend to Dubai and we stayed here for 10 nights.
Reception- Booked us in gave us a welcome cocktail and sat on a sofa whislt they sorted everything out for us to sign. Couldnt get our room straight away as we were there at 9am so they kept our luggage in a locked room and gave us full use of the facilities. We decided to use the shower in the spa to get cleaned up and then used the courtesy shuttle to the mall and went shopping for a few hours. When we got back our room was all ready.
The room- Fantastic bed, Large rooms, free fruit and bottled water every day, balcony with chair and table, beautiful view of the resort, beach and ocean, cable tv with great channels, Lovley bathroom, Robes and slippers and the best maid service i have seen done twice daily. The only flaw was if you wanted an iron and ironing board you have to request it and the maids take it so you have to keep requesting it so if you have your own travel iron take it or if you love ironing (which i dont lol) do it all before you go or on the first night your there :)
Resturants- Probably some of the best food i have eaten in the world absolutely fantastic but you have to make reservations in advance so be sure to book early :) I would also reccomend that you go half board as the food can be quite expensive but certainly worth the money (you do have to pay a little towards some of the meals in the resturants if your half board because you can choose the buffett which is lovely or you can have an allowance towards the resturants which is quite a good alowance we managed to keep all our meals in the alowance)
Pools- out of this world the sea was so hot that we had to get in the pool to cool down. When you are sunbathing the staff bring round ice cold scented flannels and bottles of cold water which i thought was really lovely. There is full waiting service for drinks and two of the pools have swim up bars but if you like your drink the cost will soon mount up. Lots of sunbeds availible if you cant find one (which we always did) the staff will get 1 for you. Changing rooms toilets and showers at the pool. Make sure you always have footwear because the ground and beach sand etc is really really HOT!
Beach- A very beautiful beach white sand and light blue clear water that you can see the sand in for ages. They have a boyed area for swimming which has a life guard watching. There is a watersports centre which has lots of non motorosized sports equipment. Vollyball on the beach. Lovley sun beds on the beach. There are camals that come along the beach that you can pay to ride and also lots of speedboats which offer parasailing which is amazing and also right on the beach the hotel next door is habtoor grand and they offer motorised watersports like 30 second walk.
Sports- Al the abover water sports plus there is a green just before the beach which offers football and table tennis. They also have tennis and squash courts. They have a fully equipped gym which is one of the best ive ever seen in a hotel.
Hamman pools- Old roman pools basically 4 jacuzzi type pools plus 1 larger sized pool all in a huge amazingly designed roman architectured room which is very peaceful and tranquil. Its an old roman body cleansing type treatment where the temperatures in each our differnt. You start from the hottest and work your way down to the coldest and this is meant to cleanse your body and soul i have to say the hot is quite hot but very nice, but boy is the cold one cold try it if you dear it is like ice i was in and out like a kangaroo but it was great. This is shared for male and female with linked doors either side for entry from the changing rooms. In each male/female changing room there is a steam room sauna jacuzzi and loungers with showers etc and they play tranquil music whilst your in there. This is so hard to describe but what an absoloutely beautiful and amazing part of the hotel the only dissapointing thing is that you cant share the jacuzzi sauna steam room part with your partner. There are plenty of towels all round the jacuzzi area it quite funny dont be supprised if your towel dissapears when you put it down its just the effiency of the staff you just have to get another one which shows how good the service is.
Spa- We both had a spa treatment and for sure theses are specialist staff in this area because these treatments were fantastic.
Staff- Very polite and will do anything for you. Everytime you walk past a member of staff they will say hello.
Bars- there are a couple of beautiful bars with some live singers etc but its not like a show or anything just a relaxed setting where you sit down and have a quiet drink.
NEGATIVES- Its very hard to say anything bad about this place The ironing board thing was slightly frustrating and i think they could do with having some nighttime entertainment outside. If your a party goer drinker etc this probably isnt for you but i dont see how anyone wouldnt have an amazing experience here.
Hope this was of help
