Amazing service, i cannot praise this hotel and its staff highly enough.
we had 4 days of our honeymoon here as a stopover on the way back from new zealand.
We simply did not want to leave.
as soon as we have sufficent funds we will return.

My husband booked our stay at the One and Only as my 40th Birthday treat. I was absolutely blown away by the grand entrance upon our arrival and was amazed to be GONGED into the entrance. The staff made us feel like royalty and could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent with sea view. The pool(s) were tropical and the beach was heaven. The restaurants were fabulous with lots of different foods to try. You did not need to venture outside of the hotel altough we did to experience Dubai life. My only niggle is that I wished I had booked a longer stay to lap up more of the luxury the hotel had to offer. I would definately go back to the One and Only and hope it wont be long before I do!

This hotel is wonderful - the rooms, the retaurants, the pool, the staff are beautiful, you won't be disappointed. Yes the Palm is being completed in front of you, but it really doesn;t make any difference to the holiday. We will be going back again and I can't wait. I recommend upgrading or booking the Gold Club as you can use it throughout the day, and the pre-dinner cocktails is a real treat. The food at Celebrities Restaurant was as good as the Burj Al Arab ! Eauzone Restaurant is so romantic too. A really beautiful hotel. Book a Seaplane for an amazing flight over the Palm and the World (www.Seawings.co.uk). Holiday of a lifetime.

Arrived at the hotel at 9.00am. Very grand entrance of Golden camels. Lots of security.
A gong was rang to announce us to the hotel. We were taken to the lounge & given some arabic tea. I had emailed & requested early acces to our room & a ground floor room with a patio. I was quite astonished to find both wished granted.
The room was spacious even with a extra bed for our daughter.
Big bathroom nicely decorated (arabic) seperate shower & toilet . Deep bath. All the shampoo/bath gel/moisture lotion & other bits you needed.
Very good mini bar selection. Quite pricey tho. The room was thoroughly cleaned once a day , then re-tided up later, bottels of water left every day. Then a turn down service in the evening too...and yes re-tided up again.
Room service menu very good. We only tried the club sandwich which was nice.
BREAKFAST- were ample. Egg dishes cooked to order. In very nice surroundings. Celebrities & Olives Reatuarants. We found the selection at Olives better.
POOL - huge with lots of shade. At 1 they bring cold towels rouns at 1.30 the clean your sunglasses and at 3.30 they bring fruit kebabs round.
The beach was very clean with the same service. Only let down is the PALM they are building.
FOOD- the Beach Grill was very good & the Rotesseri at the Arabian court . You can eat at all three hotels, only problem that when it is full you have to book a day in advance. The Roof top arabian bar is lovely.
They have a good childrens club with lots of activities, They open from about 1030am till 10.00pm. They take them for dinner at 6.45pm. Our daughter went once & was very impressed.
Cant fault the service & friendliness of the staff.
SPA - very good spa...however yet again you must book well in advance.
