This was the only hotel I did not book myself for our trip. It was booked through a local travel agent who was arranging my huts/bus/boat for the W trek.
The place was fairly cheap but otherwise I was a little disappointed for the following reasons:
Location is fairly far from town. Of course "far" is relative as the entire town is not very big, but still it would have been nice to stay nearer the action. Also, the feeling in the neighborhood was slightly more ghetto than other parts of town which we noticed particularly upon walking back at night.
Our room was downstairs and as we were going to bed, people upstairs must have checked in late and unfortunately the ceiling was thin and we could hear them walking around, turning on water, until they finally went to bed. It was all I could do to stop my boyfriend from banging on the ceiling to get them to stop.
I could not decide if the place was cozy or a bit of a dump. And my standards are not particularly high. It wasn't dirty, there were no bugs, it just wasn't that appealing.
They did have one computer which was nice to be able to check email before setting off on the W.
Breakfast must have been average as I have no memory.
