I stayed at this property for one night on the tail end of a trip to Patagonia as a 'treat' to myself.
The hotel's location is stunning. The view onto the Ultima Esperanza Sound from the rooms is breathtaking. This is the hotel's biggest selling point. Plus the reception staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a spa on the top floor, which the residents can avail of at no charge.
But for the price, I expected more. The Indigo is not cheap, yet the standard room configuration does not include a bath (although it does have an excellent shower). The hotel has internet access on the ground floor, but there are two terminals only (for those without WiFi), albeit that these are Macs.
I intended to eat at the restaurant, but the menu was not exciting and I ate at one of the several good restaurants nearby. It's mostly about the location at this hotel, but it is an expensive price to pay for a view that some of the cheaper hostels can also provide at a fraction of the price!
But as I write this, I recall the superb bed and a fantastic night's sleep at this accommodation. If you are tempted and have the money to spare, go for it.
