Stayed here after 2 weeks touring China & Japan. Travelled from the UK, so we were a tad worried about staying in a hotel "brand" that we didn't know (compared to Hilton / 4 seasons etc).

Great hotel though. Perfect location.

The hotel & grounds are spotless. 2 seconds to the beach. English speaking staff.

If you are choosing between this & the Hilton, pick this as it is of similar standard but is half the price.

We have just returned from a 8 day holiday at this wonderful resort in Yalong Bay Beach. We recommend this hotel who would like a relaxing holiday at a beautiful beach in southern China.
Breakfast is a lovely continental spread with cheeses fruit pastries and of course chinese dishes, etc.
The resort has 2 awesome pools and the grounds were perfect. The private beach is amazing too, and they give you towels and a "beach bag" to put your things before go to the beach. They also give you amenities and the newspaper every day.
The water was crystal clear, the sand clean and wooden deck chairs with umbrellas were available for lounging.
Whe had to rooms, the first one wasn't a sea-facing room, but it was spacious, very clean and comfortable decorated with "beach style". The second one was located in the corner and it was an amazing "sea view suite".
The staff are lovely and try very hard to help you. Sometimes they cannot solve your problems because their English is limited, but
you need to understand this is China. You shouldn't expect everyone to be fluent in your language.
Sanya was more than we waited for it.

Just got back from Resort Intime Sanya after a weekend trip there. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, extremely clean and well-maintained. Our room was a sea-facing room, again, very clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was that the bathroom was too small and the minisafe wasn't working.

The breakfast buffet is really excellent, with great variety and freshly prepared food. The "lakeside" BBQ was a bit pricey and the food so-so, but the atmosphere and live entertainment made up for that.

There are two large pools with beautiful landscaping (lots of palm trees and hammocks for lazy naps in the shade!) plus a huge baby pool. The beach is right next to the larger pool, spacious with great sand although not as nice as the more expensive resorts in Yalong Bay.

The service is generally very good, although the resort comes up short on organized activities. Even though the hotel was full, the pool and beach areas never felt crowded. It is located in the heart of a busy commercial strip that has plenty of restaurants and shops.

All in all, Resort Intime is a great value and a wonderful choice for a Hainan getaway. You get a 5-star beach resort at a 3 star price.
