“This is a suite?!?”

I reserved a Junior Suite for $499/night approximately 1 month before we arrived to stay at the Trump Marina. My stay began by waiting on a very short line, only the person at the counter ahead of me, for 20 minutes because there was only one person working the check in counter at the time. Once we were helped, it seemed to be a quick and easy check in. We got our room keys and procedded to our room. I walked in and thought "This is a junior suite?". It seemed rather small for a suite. After a few minutes we called the front desk and asked if the room we were in was actually a suite...the person at the front desk said "No, that is a regular room." We explained what we actually reserved, which she confirmed through the reservation number. She explained that our reserved room had a king bed but since we had 4 people staying they put us in a room that had 2 double beds. After 30 minutes of searching she found us a suite with 2 beds...which was exactly what we should have gotten to begin with. Although the person at the front desk was helpful, there were no apologies for the mix up. Also, I was pretty annoyed that if we didn't say anything, we would have paid $500/night for a standard room.

The suite was nice and very clean but there was 2 double beds - not queen size; and there were 2 bathrooms - but 1 bar of soap and 1 small thing of shampoo to be shared. The ironing board was broken.

Gambling - it was easy to get any slot machine - probably because the moment you put $20 in it was gone. Pay outs were terrible and there weren't many tables.

We ate the the buffet for breakfast. At first glance it seemed pretty good for the price of $12.99/person. There was a lot of food but most of it was cold. The omlet station was good.

Overall we had a good time...but I would probably stay at a different placed the next time.

“Can't wait to go again!”

My husband and I wanted a getaway trip from the normal daily life so we planned a one night stay at Trump Marina's Crystal Corner Suite.

Wanting luxury at bargain prices, we went during the off season and during the week so we could afford a suite and a get that "pampered" feeling.

We certainly got it!

The room is just as pictured on the hotel's site! Beautifully adorned with rich marble, gold trimmings and the entire one wall is floor to ceiling windows- making for a great view of the marshlands & Harrah's. You get a great sunset view in this room!

Opening the double doors to the suite you are greeted by the
jacuzzi tub- big enough for four people, and fills up quickly. It is so relaxing. The suite is over 700 sq.ft. and very comfortable.
A bar area w/ sink, refrigerator gives way to the dining area. That wall is floor to ceiling mirrored, but gorgeous. An enormous armoire houses the TV with On-Demand movies and music available. (this was the only part of the room we were displeased with, the movies and music were down from time to time due to peak hours of demand in the hotel)
There is a large couch and chair, a corner chair reading nook with ottoman too. The oversized king bed was incredibly comfortable, only could have been better with some high end sheets. THere is a big sitting bench at the end of the bed. Very quiet room for sleeping, didn't hear a soul that night, and the drapes keep out the sun in the morning- totally dark so you can sleep in!!

Then the double etched glass doors open to a foyer with a closet, and branches off to his and hers bathrooms. The ladies bathroom has a toilet, bideau and tub, the men's bathroom has toilet and roomy-for-two shower. Both bathrooms were well stocked with toiletries, towels and even phones! Vanity mirrors in both and strong lights for make-up applications.

It was a wonderful suite, spoiled us and would love to do it again. Trump Marina staff are pleasant. Our room was ready 2 hours early and we were able to check in right then!

The casino is small but nice.
Hooters, The Cafe, Finestra, a japanese upscale restaurant, and Harborview restaurants were all inside on casino level. Also a buffet available too- for about 14.99 pp. There is a pizza/pasta stop in the lower level as you come in from the parking garage, also a place to buy candies and such.

Its worth a stay & play at Trump Marina!

“Terrible nights sleep”

Trump Marina Hotel and Casino

Although the room was newly decorated and looked nice it sure didn't smell nice. There was a stale awful smell and the bathroom smelled like either urine or mold. Also the heating unit and some of the lights did not work, but that wasn't even the worst part. The worst part was the paper thin walls . I am a city girl been living in apartments for 10+ years. I am used to noise but this was out of hand I could hear every word that was spoken in the rooms on either side of us. I heard everything and I mean EVERYTHING. I couldn't sleep at all would never stay here again.

“Crystal one bedroom suite almost the size of my house. like 1400sqft”

Trump Marina Hotel and Casino

I have stayed in several of Trumps suites in multiple properties in the off season/ midweek , due to the amazing price for an equally amazing room.
How can you go wrong with a 2-3 person jacuzzi in the living room or sometimes in the bedroom, with multiple large plasma
tv's through out.

The crystal one bedroom suite has both his and hers complete bathrooms, with the area cordined off with cut glass doors, classy look.

Even the bedroom has cut glass pocket doors incase you want to entertain in the living room or dinning room.

Has a wet bar area with a fridge and a gold sink.
All room amenities, shampoo, cond, mothwash, soap top shelf.

Most of the suites i have stayed in with trump have such high quality, classy furniture, with even the small details that make a place great insted of just good such as high quality wallpaper.

One of my suites once even had leather wall paper, maybe insignificant to some, but an expense to me that gets noticed.

My only complaint was the occasional extremely slow drink service at the tables, which should not happen at 3am on a monday morning. Or my wife not being able to get any service at a slot machiene between 11p.m. and 2 a.m.

I am so totally surprised by the level of high quality treatment by employes in every aspect of my needs, even if it was just the floor sweeper saying hello. I really feel like trumps people treat you like a human again not just like a dollar sign, like i used to feel in the 90's.

Had such a blast im going back for 2 nights this time for the 3 time in less then a month.

I hate to give a nice hotel a rating like this. My husband and I went to the Trump Marina in Atlantic City, NJ for his birthday. It's been a while since we've gotten away especially since we have a 1 year old. I made the reservation about 1 month in advance. We asked for a smoking room/king size bed (my husband is 6 foot 2). When we reached the desk we found out that there were no smoking rooms available. Now my husband and i both smoke and it was just so inconvenient to have to keep going all the way downstairs from the 15th floor just to have a smoke. They claimed that they only had 5 smoking rooms available and that rooms went on a first come first serve basis. Mean while i arrived 10 min after 4 pm, which is check in time at this hotel. Overall, my husband and I had a great time. Everyone was very nice, except for the guy from the front desk who picked up my call for the complaint on having my room changed. I even had a bday cake delivered to our room and the guy who brought it up was so nice and friendly.
Point blank i'm complaining because i like to get what i ask for and even though this is minute it still upset me. I know those who smoke would agree. We couldn't just relax in our room, which is really the main reason why we were out there.
