I reserved a Junior Suite for $499/night approximately 1 month before we arrived to stay at the Trump Marina. My stay began by waiting on a very short line, only the person at the counter ahead of me, for 20 minutes because there was only one person working the check in counter at the time. Once we were helped, it seemed to be a quick and easy check in. We got our room keys and procedded to our room. I walked in and thought "This is a junior suite?". It seemed rather small for a suite. After a few minutes we called the front desk and asked if the room we were in was actually a suite...the person at the front desk said "No, that is a regular room." We explained what we actually reserved, which she confirmed through the reservation number. She explained that our reserved room had a king bed but since we had 4 people staying they put us in a room that had 2 double beds. After 30 minutes of searching she found us a suite with 2 beds...which was exactly what we should have gotten to begin with. Although the person at the front desk was helpful, there were no apologies for the mix up. Also, I was pretty annoyed that if we didn't say anything, we would have paid $500/night for a standard room.
The suite was nice and very clean but there was 2 double beds - not queen size; and there were 2 bathrooms - but 1 bar of soap and 1 small thing of shampoo to be shared. The ironing board was broken.
Gambling - it was easy to get any slot machine - probably because the moment you put $20 in it was gone. Pay outs were terrible and there weren't many tables.
We ate the the buffet for breakfast. At first glance it seemed pretty good for the price of $12.99/person. There was a lot of food but most of it was cold. The omlet station was good.
Overall we had a good time...but I would probably stay at a different placed the next time.
